𝐈𝐓’𝐒  𝐍𝐎𝐓  𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓  𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐌  𝐖𝐀𝐒  𝐊𝐄𝐄𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐆  a  close  eye  on  his  sister.  well,  he  was  in  the  sense  of  an  older  brother  but  not  for  other  reasons.  while  walking  around  the  festival  he  had  noticed  rose  and  kieran  interacting  and  something  ugly  reared  its  head  inside  of  liam.  sure,  he  had  a  civil  talk  with  kieran,  which  to  be  fair  ,  he  never  thought  would  happen  which  left  liam  questioning  the  hatred  he  had  for  the  other.  still,  seeing  rose  interact  with  kieran  knowing  how  he  felt  was  a  slap  in  his  face.  his  sister  just  lived  her  life  without  thinking  of  the  consequences  that  followed.  as  much  as  liam  loved  her  he  was  tired  of  it.  tired  of  having  to  take  on  all  the  responsibilities  and  he  certainly  was  tired  of  being  the  bad  guy  for  trying  to  protect  his  parents  feelings  in  this  situation.  once  the  young  princess  turned  around  their  eyes  locked.  the  prince  gave  a  wave  to  his  sister  and  motioned  her  over.    “  do  you  take  me  for  an  idiot  ,  rosalie  ?  ”    he  asked  arms  crossed  over  his  chest.  really  ,  he  wanted  to  know.

          AS MUCH AS ROSALIE WAS HAVING A GREAT TIME  at  the  festival ,  she  couldn’t  deny  that  this  was  probably  one  of  the  most  emotionally  draining  days  of  her  whole  life .  the  princess  lived  for  excitement ,  for  adventure ,  but  not  at  the  cost  of  so  many  different  people  tugging  on  her  heartstrings  at  once .  she  wasn’t  built  for  this  sort  of  thing ,  for  enduring  consequences  or  the  weight  of  frustration .  so  when  she  found  herself  in  her  brother’s  disapproving  gaze  ( which  she’d  been  desperately  avoiding  all  day ) ,  rose  almost  dropped  to  the  ground  right  then  and  there .  maybe  that  would’ve  been  better ,  one  can’t  have  a  conversation  if  they’re  unconscious !   trying  to  hide  her  nervousness  at  the  fact  that  he’d  definitely  caught  her  talking  to  kieran ,   she  slowly  made  her  way  towards  liam .  did  anything  ever  escape  his  gaze ?   ❝  an  idiot ?   no ,  not  at  all !   you’re  very  smart ,  the  smartest  of  us  three !  ❞  at  least  on  paper .  ❝  of  course  there  are  different  types  of  intelligence  that  should  be  taken  into  consideration  when  evaluating  a--  ❞  she  cuts  off ,  words  being  replaced  by  a  heavy  sigh .   something  was  telling  rosalie  that  her  brother  wasn’t  really  asking  for  an  opinion  on  the  matter .  ❝  i  was  just  saying  hi ,  liam .  diplomacy  and  all  that ,  you  know  these  things .  ❞
