they stared at each other, wordless, because they may have loved each other so quietly and constantly that it didn’t need to be verbalized, but they wouldn’t be them — wouldn’t be kiyoomi and atsumu — if they weren’t each at least somewhat enamored with their own pride. there was a stupidity to it that made kiyoomi’s next words all the more damning: “where are you going?” i care about your whereabouts. i will follow you, if you stray too far. ; or: atsumu has a slight cooking mishap, kiyoomi's therapist needs a raise, and they're in love

hello sakuatsu fandom. here is my offering to you in these trying times.
he’s half-convinced his brain is tricking him, that he’s delusional from, like, gym-borne toxic fumes or something, but a quick glance at kiyoomi’s phone screen discounts that theory. huh. and, again: what? atsumu fights the urge to rip the earbud out of kiyoomi’s ear or pause the music or, like, screech. normal responses, surely. instead, he speaks as calmly as possible around the disbelief in his voice, “you listen to abba?!” or: kiyoomi is an abba fan, atsumu is flabbergasted, and they're in love.
atsumu being silly (real) and sakuatsu being in love (they dance around their apartment and listen to abba. it's good i promise).
