For your art block world, will the world have a similar history to normal earth, or will it be completely different in historical events from the start?

Like, besides everyone living on pangea, did society at large evolve differently than normal before everything went apocalyptic?

Not really, it kinda still has similar events except for some legends actually being in some way true with strange monsters from the Taniwha of Māori mythology to the Shetani of Eastern Africa. Even some modern urban legs of monster existed as the first examples of Mutas (Mutant animals/humanoids), though history does change when we look at years yet to come, until the early 2050’s atleast.
