Here’s something to think about, in your honest opinions. Why does genocide still happen in the modern times even after the heavy documentations of genocides that have happened in the past like the Holocaust or the indoctrination of Native American children to live a “Christian” life?

Decided to watch Blast from the Past (1999) and holy shit I forgot how much the late 90’s actually showed more vocal about queer people than even some modern films that only imply it. Granted the film does it to poke fun of people of the 1960s being horrified but such a concept but still I appreciate it more then hearing old palookas and bigots complain all day due to a slight implication of a character being trans or whatever. Like seriously is anyone else just sick of that shit? I might sound arrogant or ignorant but I remember as a kid seeing queer people (mainly lesbians and gay fellas) but atleast there was something and they were treated normally. Idk it just a thought I had.
