Catching up on Midst and I'm having very strong, but as-yet unidentifiable emotional reactions to The Thing That Happens To Saskia in the Tearror. Something about it's hitting some kinda button, some kinda vulnerable spot. Something to dwell on this weekend

A drawing of moc weepe and saskia hanging out. the background is white but theyre lit up by lots of specks of colors, probably from some fancy disco lights in the cabaret. moc is sitting, gesturing casually with a hand, while saskia leans casually next to him. they seem to be just talking and having a good time, being alright and totally fine. moc is holding a glass of probably whiskey, while saskia is holding a cocktail glass of something golden. saskia's wearing a purply reddish glittery dress and long black gloves, while weepe is wearing a tight waistcoat in the same fabric (they're matching!), over a yellow shirt and white dress pants.
