THEORY OF INFINITY WAR

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so after much crying, throwing up, and heart break I have figured out a way (that makes total sense) so that all the characters that ‘died’ from the weird flaking apart aren't actually dead!!!!!

Explanation/ clarification points  

1. Doctor Strange explains to Tony and Bruce that the Soul Gems (infinity stones) were created from the big bang. He said that they were created to bring a balance to the universe that was just created. Each of the stones are to have control over each of the six parts of the galaxy. The stones, when used together, are to be able to control the galaxy. They are the foundation of the universe.

2. Thanos had all of the Soul Gems (infinity stones), minus the one in Vision’s head, which was the Mind Stone. This means that he was not possessing the power of ‘mind’ that was created from the big bang. 

2 1/2. It doesn't matter how Thanos would have been able to use the Mind Stone if he had taken it before the others, the only thing that matters is that the universe was built on the idea of the Mind Stone. Without it, the universe would be in trouble.

3. Thanos decided to go on this killing spree for what he believed to be the good of all. After the close extinction of his people, he decide to follow through with his plan for the universe that he designated for his home planet, kill half the population so the other half can live. He never wanted to kill people, he believed that the best way to save people is to kill them. 

4. Yes I know the Mind Stone was destroyed. And nothing happened. However, we don't know what would have happened if the stone had stayed destroyed. With the universe being so massive, having a stone destroyed would have most likely taken a little bit to settle and be effective. Like a hexagon loosing a side, it would stay standing for a while, but with Thanos causing such mayhem, the hexagon would fall after enough disruption. 

5. Well after Thanos puts the Mind Stone back together and attaches it to the gauntlet, Thor attacks his with his newly made ax that was created from the heart of a dying star. Thor stabs him, which takes him to the “sprit world” (from the looks of either it his home planet, Titan, or Gamoras home planet) where he sees a young Gamora again. She asks him what his conquest cost him. He replies that he lost everything. 

5 1/2. The “spirt world” that Thanos enters is very similar in idea to the spiritual plane that T’Challa (or any of the Black Panthers) go to when they are submerged in sand. The same principal applies. Both people (B.P. and Thanos) ‘die’ and visit the spiritual world, after gaining ideas and guidance from someone the person is close to in a place they are familiar with, they are brought back to life. 

6. Thanos ‘comes back to life’ and then starts the chain reaction of the disintegration of people. He disappears, and when we next see him, he seems to be back on Titan.

7. Back to who we all really care about, about half of the people in the universe are being disintegration. They are quickly ‘dying’ and leaving the universe. I would name everyone but I know I would forget someone, so its just all the people who disappeared.

Now for the real theory

After Thanos’ meeting with Gamora, it leads to the idea that maybe baby Gamora changed his mind. After all, this was the state that Thanos first took in his daughter and first fell in love with her and her will to fight. And so soon after her death, which was caused by his own hands, it would have been heart breaking for him. Before he returns to the normal world, he looks to be conflicted from his conversation with his daughter. 

This leads to Thanos’ back story. Because of the over population of Titan, his people were dying. So he suggested that half the population be killed so the other half can live. Everyone calls him a mad man and completely disregards his idea (for good reason). After his world dies, he decides to carry out his plan so the universe wont feel the same extinction as he did. His plan, get all the Infinity Stones and wipe out half the population. Although, after his talk with Gamora, he seems conflicted.

Should he kill half the universe, or should he not? After all, it's not like he had gems that were created from the creation of the universe or anything. But after the Mind Stone was broken, Thanos put it back together, almost recreating what happened in the big bang.

All the stones were created and were ready to balance the universe and control it. The Thor threw his ax that was forged from the power of a dying star (btw that a HUGE amount of power).  

Guys, I think that Thanos carried out his plan and got rid of half the universe, but put them into a parallel universe that he created with the power of the Mind stone being recreated, the Infinity stones being used by one person, and the power from Thor’s ax. This means that none of the disintegrated people are really dead (aka Peter and Bucky, who I sobbed about). They were just shoved into the new universe that Thanos created.
