so I figured I should do one of these if I am gonna start writing as well so here is my intro I guess

Fandoms I take part of (mostly): Marauders, Spiderverse, Star wars (Just started in the fandom), Marvel, Maze Runner, Dragonian book series, BTS army, Stray kids Stays, Percy Jackson (just started here too)
Just know that I don't always write in a schedule so if you're waiting for an update it may take a bit. Please don't pressure me but if you ask nicely I'll indulge and give you an update on how the story is going and when I might post the next bit.
My fics are usually reader insert stories because it's the way my brain best imagines what happens in the timeline.

thoughts on child of nyx
(disclaimer that I am still reading through the books I apologize for any misinformation)
Chronic night owls, feeling way more energized during the dark hours of the night than during the day
They like the wintery fall seasons better because of the sole fact that the sun dips below the horizon earlier and rises later
Nyx cabin and Apollo cabin would have a friendly rivalry
Their cabin would be dark inside but is decorated with a ton of fairy lights to mimic the stars
they can navigate with the stars and constellations extremely well
Inherently know the name of all those stars and constellations
they can manipulate shadows too as well as short bursts of really bright light like stars
i feel like they would be able to become a shadow for some reason???? Good for spying at least
Hades cabin and nyx cabin would have fun messing with the shadows all the time
I'm not entirely sure but I feel like nyx would be a protective mother (she protected her son from Zeus so there goes that) and this translates to her half-blood children too
She is protective of them and they are protective of those they care about too
i could imagine them being the mother/father figure of camp if they manage to get peoples' trust
they would be hesitant to hang out with the kids of Zeus, but would befriend them just to piss off king sparkles for all the nasty things he has said about their mother darkness
Nyx' children would be close to each other and wouldn't join Kronos
Their mother lives down there with the titans remains she hears his whining and plotting so she warns her kids
Like dude stfu for a second
Nyx and her children would have a good relationship and she'd be better at "child support" than most of if not all of the other gods

About Poseidon child getting sick in the middle of winter
Don't think about them not being able to truly get better because they can't get to the lakes or rivers
It's too cold and they feel like shit ok?
Don't think about their loving boyfriend Luke braving the storm with them
Don't think about even Mr D being fine with Luke staying in cabin 3 because of their condition
the only times they feel slightly better being for quick showers before quickly returning to bed from extreme fatigue
Dont think about Luke staying with them watching movies and reading books
Don't think about Luke stealing their favorite treats and snacks from the camp store
Don't think about Luke being truly genuinely worried about their health because what do you mean it's been a week and you still aren't any better?
Don't think about Luke getting a last ditch stroke of genius and executing his plan as fast as he can
Don't think about the plan being to run a nice warm hot bath because they're a Poseidon child and theoretically any form of water should help right?
Don't think about him gently coaxing his partner to try it out, even if they initially don't want to

what if a child of Poseidon was a fan of EPIC the musical.....and was an Ody defender? Like their mother showing them epic as a way to get them familiar with the story of the Odyssey and them being a huge fan of Ody and his journey to the point they majorly freak out when a new saga is going to release (cough cough me). Needless to say Poseidon may not be too happy about it

midnight thoughts....
Imagine a child of whomever (my go to's are usually child of Nyx or Poseidon) being close to Mr. D just because they have been at camp for so long and yes he does care he just doesn't know how to show it. What if when they go on quests or out of camp for any reason they bring him back like grape flavored coca-cola??? (Please just pretend that he can't have anything related to grapes even remotely because of king sparkles idk if it's true or not just bare with me). Like they go out to town and come back like "I got you a present!". He pretends not to appreciate it much but keeps asking for it and if they ever forget or don't have the funds he gets pouty.
i like to think if a child of nyx falling for Leo Valdez and them having a similar vibe to Sollangelo. Do imagine how cute that would be?!
ok but a child of nyx glowing like a star when they get happy or comfortable. Their skin will just begin to immit a soft silver light like those iridescent dots in the care of their mother's domain.

I don't understand how there are so many fics for the sea fam but you can scarcely find one for Hades and Nico. Hades who would let nothing happen to his wife, dog, or mother in law/sister. Hades who was the most level-headed in the myths. Hades who offered his nephew and his mother sanctuary from his own father the Titan lord the moment the king of the underworld found out he was rising again.
Hades deserves to be a good dad, and not just seen as a villain all over again
imagine a child of Hades (Nico's older sibling that child has gone through enough) being the only one capable of cleaning the bodies of dead campers after the battle of the Labrinth/Manhattan/etc for the proper traditional Greek funerals. Imagine them being a pillar of camp they've been there so long and having to clean of the bodies of their found family because no one else can without puking......I ruined my own day with this thought, I had the obligation to run yours in order to not suffer some
HEADCANNON
All of the Demigods in camp-half blood have some sort of useless power.
Zeus: Can (kinda) predict where lighting will strike
Poseidon: Always get the best waves when surfing
Hades: Don't feel sick looking at pictures of dead bodies
Demeter: Make a BANGING fruit salad
Apollo: His kids can -and will- stare at the sun (just to freak their dad out)
Hermes: Can always bond with middle children (even if not middle child themselves)
Athena: Never get papercuts
Ares: Can always get people angry enough to fight. (Only if it's a topic their passionate about)
Aphrodite: Never get frizzy hair.
Hephaestus: Always screw, screws the right way first time
Dionysius: People always seem to forget the time around them.
Hestia: Can cook food perfectly on a raw fire
