Look, I'm just saying that if in some TF story Megatron was taken aback by Optimus Prime's honor and compassion and slowly began to admire him, and then the two of them became closer as they repeatedly teamed up against larger threats—to the point that they had more team-ups than battles—and it was made clear that Megatron was secretly fearful and craved Optimus's support, and Optimus saw goodness in Megatron and decided to make a bid for peace by surrendering unconditionally to Megatron after calling him "approachable," and this plan worked because Megatron didn't want to betray someone with such strong ideals, and then they joined forces despite it being an unpopular decision on both sides so they could fight Unicron, and they held hands, and Megatron sacrificed himself when Optimus was incapacitated and died in Optimus's arms, and that noble sacrifice empowered Optimus to overwhelm Unicron with experiences that were were explicitly stated to include "love," people would be saying MegOp is canon. But when it was Optimus Prime and Scorponok, nobody ships it. So unfair! In this essay, I will—
