today you had decided to try a tik tok trend on your boyfriend that you had seen as you were scrolling through your for you page. it consisted of saying pickup lines at random times but getting them on video to see the reactions you received.
knowing jude, you knew this would end hilariously and all of your followers had been asking for you to post another video with him again because they absolutely loved them. of course you got the most idiotic pick up lines you could find to make this whole experience even more chaotic.
"hey everyone, so today i have decided to try some pickup lines on jude to see how he reacts.
line 1:
"okay, i have my first pick up line. and jude just got home." you said to the camera as you placed the phone on the kitchen counter.
"y/n/n i'm home." jude yelled as he walked through the door. he walked towards you before kissing your forehead and embracing you in a hug. you smiled and pulled away before speaking up.
"jude?"
"hm?" he hummed.
"feel my shirt. do you know what it's made of?" you asked and he looked at you oddly before pinching some of the fabric. "girlfriend material."
"no way you just said that. nah. you are on some joke." jude chuckled.
"what do you mean? i thought it was pretty good."
"no way you thought of that yourself." jude spoke as he walked out of the kitchen and towards your bedroom. you turned to look at the camera and made a silly face before turning it off.
line 2:
"okay, we're about to go to bed, i wanna see what he'll say." you whispered in the bathroom as you filmed the video.
"babe, can you come here for a second. i need to show you something!" you yelled and soon enough you heard jude's footsteps approaching your bathroom.
"yeah of course, what do you need darling?" he asked before walking through the door.
"woah, give me a sec. i was blinded by your beauty, i'm gonna need your name and phone number for insurance purposes." you said before winking.
"ooh ooh ooh. okay that one was good. you just boosted my ego up to like 50." he was jumping excitedly as he spoke. "second time today too. are you getting these on video or something?" jude asked as he looked around.
"you bet. look." you giggled as you pointed to the camera.
"man, get you a girl who will shower you with pick up lines... ah, i love you." jude said as he hugged you and kissed your head.
line 3:
"guys i didn't think these would go as well as they did. but jude is really enjoying the pickup lines. currently its 8am, and i am hiding in the bathroom again. i'm gonna find a pick up line, go and lay down with my phone recording and say it. jude usually wakes up around this time so let's see how this goes." you said before you walked out of the bathroom and laid in your bed next to jude, who cuddled into you. you turned on the video to get both of you in it before whispering.
"baby. good morning." you smiled.
"hm. hi." he said with his morning voice still evident. he was half awake so you couldn't blame him.
"jude..."
"hm?" he groaned, his eyes still closed and now he grabbed on to you tighter.
"are you google? because you've got everything i've been searching for." you chuckled after you got the last word out. jude still hadn't opened his eyes but he was smiling and you had gotten it on camera.
"10 out of 10." he replied as he kissed your cheek. slowly, he opened his eyes and looked directly at your phone. when he saw himself on the screen, he stuck his tongue out and you stopped recording.
line 4:
"okay guys, i am in the car and we are about to go to our friend's house. jude just locked the front door and is heading our way. i'm going to do another pick up line on him. okay, here we go." you said to the camera before jude opened the door.
"you ready darling?" jude asked as he sat in the driver's seat.
"yeah... oh wait! did you get a map?" you asked.
"wh-no... why would i need a map?" jude asked confused.
"well because... i keep getting lost in your eyes." you responded innocently.
jude looked at you before dropping his head on the steering wheel and chuckling. his laughs were muffled by his coat, but when he looked at you he looked so happy and relaxed.
"why are you looking at me like that?" you asked with a giggle.
"ugh, i can't get enough of you." he pecked your lips before closing the car door and starting the car.
line 5:
"hey guys. okay i swear i find myself in the bathroom every time i decide to do one of these. anyways, this will be the final pick up line because i'm running out of time in the video. but currently, we're at jude's parents house, his mum, dad and jobe are all here. we're about to eat dinner and i've decided to completely humiliate myself and jude with this little trend of mine. so i'm going to be saying the pickup line at the table. i already told his mom so she will be video taping for me." you whispered before walking out of the bathroom and bringing the phone to jude's mom.
you, jobe and jude's parents sat down at the table before jude so his mom was already recording while jobe and mark were looking at you two confused.
"jude! hurry up. we're not waiting all day!" his mom yelled.
"okay, i'm here! im here!" he responded before he sat down next to you.
"oh wait jude can you get me the salt?" you asked and he walked over to the kitchen cabinet and grabbed it. "by the way-" you were about to say the line before he sneezed. so you took this as an opportunity to use another pick up line.
"i'd say god bless you but it seems he already has." you grinned.
"woah, how'd you time that so well?" jude asked astonished as he sat down. he still hadn't realized that his mom was recording.
"i didn't i was going to use another line, but i got lucky and you sneezed so I could use that one." you replied.
"you two are gross." jobe spoke up. "and why is it getting recorded?" jobe pointed to the camera before jude quickly turned his head.
"you were in on this too?!" he asked pointing at his mom.
"i didn't know what y/n would say, but i offered to video tape." denise replied.
"i swear you pick the most random times too. i never thought, with the four times you did it... this one being five! i never saw it coming." jude chuckled.
his mom handed you your phone and you posted the full video and showed it to jude's parents, who got a good chuckle out of it. jude smiled as you interacted with his family and squeezed your hand signaling for you to look at him. you looked up and he mouthed i love you, and kissed your head, before letting you continue with your conversation.
