Caelus - First Design Pt.2

I’ve gotten around to finishing the *eyes*

So now y’all get to see both Caelus together!

And as he awoke in the arms of his rival, Shadow couldn’t help but gasp out of fear. Above him, the golden hedgehog floated in deep space with a pair of delicate, feathered wings, red eyes blinking on each of those magnificent wings, and his quills and limbs and the centre of his forehead. Shadow cried out. Sonic hushed him.

“Be not afraid, Shadow.” He spoke. “It’s just me.”

And as he awoke in the arms of his rival, his friend, in the scorching pit of Hell, baby blue feathers burning away beside him, Shadow couldn’t help but cry out.

“Why?!” He shouted. “Why would you do this?!”

Sonic hushed him, tears forming in the corner of his red, and only, eyes.

“Because,” he panted, “I couldn’t let you fall…”
