Hello! I’m so excited to see another Sf9 writer! I was wondering if you could do a fluff piece with Jaeyoon? You can choose the setting! If nothing comes up, maybe the scenario can be in the kitchen?

You and Jaeyoon loved cooking together… although you could argue it was more Jaeyoon doing the cooking and you admiring his skills. You could give yourself some credit though as you do help chop the odd veg or two.

But you just enjoyed watching Jaeyoon more, as he opens jars with ease and how his toned arms would stretch to reach top shelfs, in doing so, slightly lifting his t-shirt exposing his toned physique. Come to think of it, this happened often. You could swear he did it on purpose to please his audience…you.

This evening however, your partner had started cooking dinner without you. It smelt delicious, so you couldn’t really complain. Curious, you went towards the kitchen.

Sensing your presence, Jaeyoon immediately looked up and smiled. “Honey! come taste this” he says as he spoon feeds you a mystery sauce. “It’s spicy though” he warns softly, as his caring eyes study your facial expressions searching for any signs of distaste. “Hmm tastes good…you were right, using the fresh chillies does make it spicier, but I like it” you remarked. Relieved, he boasts “Wow I’m sexy and a great cook, baby you are so lucky!” as he pulls you in a warm bear hug, planting kisses on your forehead. This makes you laugh, as you roll your eyes trying to wiggle yourself free from his hold.

“Don’t go” Jaeyoon pouts as he loosens his grip. “Keep me company, it should be ready in 10 minutes”. So, you sat down at the table just observing Jaeyoon, his face was smooth, hair slightly messy and sweat running down the side of his face from the steam. Damn, he really was sexy…and a great cook - you acknowledged, letting out a small chuckle.

This caught his attention, his eyes meeting with yours. You quickly looked away as you felt your face getting hotter. Suspicious he raised his eyebrows smirking at you, “what’s funny?” he asks. “Hmm tell me”, he urges smugly, as he moves towards you, beginning to dress the table. 

Your heart fluttered. 

He knew. But just wanted to hear you say it too.

You had arrived at the cafe around 5pm. Checking your phone again, you sigh. It was now 5.32pm. You hated waiting. Inseong had texted you earlier promising he would be there on time. But he wasn’t.

Looking out the cafe window, the sky seemed gloomy, and you notice it had started to drizzle.

Lately, both your schedules have been clashing, so you rarely had time to see each other, let alone grab a coffee together. Inseong would leave for his schedules early in the morning and come back pretty late. This meant that by the time he’d come home, you would be fast asleep. Although you did try to stay up for him, you always dozed off before he made it home. You were like ships in the night. So, when he had suggested you visit the new cafe in your neighbourhood, you were excited. But now you were annoyed.

The rain had now started to pour, tapping strongly against the cafe window bringing you back to reality.

You hear the cafe doorbell ring, opening to reveal a tall, handsome man wearing a long coat and glasses. There he was finally. He was soaked. His glasses had steamed up, impairing his vision temporarily, making you chuckle at how silly he looked. Annoyingly, you could slowly feel your anger disappear.

“Hi sweetheart, I’m so sorry my phone died, and the traffic was horrendous” he blurts as he approaches your table and bends down to kiss your cheek. You don’t respond but force a smile. He knows you’re upset. “I’m really sorry, are you mad at me?” he questions. You can see him internally panicking, thinking of ways to lighten the mood as he sits down opposite you and removes his coat. “Have you ordered anything yet? Get everything you want, my treat”. He continues “I heard their spice chai lattes are really good, should we get that?” he asks you, “…or maybe the coffee mocha?”, “I wonder if it’s as good as the other cafe we tried”. You can tell he’s really trying.

Listening to him ramble over the menu, you’re overwhelmed with the feeling of how much you just miss him. “I haven’t ordered yet; I was waiting for you…” you finally respond. “…I guess their chocolate fudge cakes also looks good” you hesitantly add. Inseong looks up surprised and smiles, appreciating your silent forgiveness.

He holds eye contact with you, and mouths “I love youuuuuu”, as he gets the waiters attention to order, to which you smile back, shaking your head. Gosh, he always knew how to get you out your mood.

It was Thursday. Date night. You thought of cooking something together but let’s face it; neither you nor Inseong could really cook so you decided to order dinner.

While you waited for your delivery, you cuddle in bed. Being the big spoon, Inseong pulls you in close and begins talking. His grip around your waist was making your mind wander, his hands were firm yet gentle. You imagine where else they could be. You clench at the thought.

“Babe, are you listening?” Inseong asks noticing your mind was elsewhere. You don’t answer but slowly begin to grind your ass against his bulge. He wants to question it, but it’s date night. I guess we could be spontaneous tonight. His hands leave your waist and wander up your body grabbing your boobs. You turn to face him letting out a moan, which he catches into a kiss, kissing you passionately. You both wiggle under the covers to remove your underwear while holding your embrace.

Just as things were getting heated, the doorbell rings. Groaning, you go to get up, but he pulls you back to bed. “Stay here, I’ll get it” he says. You watch as he grabs his boxers again and rushes towards the door, hopping on one foot as he tries to put them on. You can’t help but giggle. This guy. How can he be so sexy one minute and a cute idiot the next? The door opens and shuts pretty quick, and you already hear Inseong’s footsteps coming back towards the bedroom.

He arrives empty handed. You raise your eyebrows and tilt your head confused. “Oh, I left the food in the kitchen and thought we could continue where we left off?” He asked rhetorically, grinning slyly. You look down and notice his full-on erection bulging through his boxers. He notices your stare and quickly kicks off them off exposing himself to you and jiggles his body waving his arms. “Hey! like what you see?” he asks jokingly as he dives on top of you almost bouncing off the bed, making you both burst out laughing. What an idiot.

He then pulls himself closer to your face and in a serious tone he whispers “besides, I’m not sure how hungry I’ll be after eating you”. Omg did he just say that. He smirks noticing your face flush and kisses you again before heading south.

You loved these lazy date nights. They were casual and effortless, yet you loved how close you felt to Inseong.

You couldn’t sleep. You were currently snuggled in bed under Taeyang’s embrace with his arms wrapped around your waist. You try wiggling yourself free, but Taeyang holds you tighter which only annoys you.

“What’s wrong?” He grunts softly. His voice still sounds half asleep yet worried highlighting his concern. You don’t respond, gently pushing his hands off your waist and sit up. Alert, he immediately sits up with you. He delicately slips his hands back round your waist, slightly firmer this time letting you know he’s not going to let go as easily.

“Sweetheart, talk to me” he pleads.

So you start talking.

All night.

Glancing at the clock you see it’s already 3.05am. You look at Taeyang…you assumed he would have fallen asleep by now but he remains quiet with his eyes fixed on you. He looks at you intently with adoration and pure affection. His hair ruffled from sleep looking tired yet determined to listen to everything you have to say. He wants to be there for you.

“It’s getting pretty late Taeyangi” you admit guiltily. He glances at the clock, “I know, but I want you to get it all off your chest” he replies back. To which you turn to hug him tightly, which partly surprises Taeyang. “It’s okay, I feel better now”, you say as you slowly begin to pull back. He stops you, cupping your face and kisses you sweetly, holding it for a while. It’s as though he’s sending you a message; telling you that he’s got you. That he’ll always be there to listen, day or night. “I love you” he calmly whispers accepting your answer. “I love you too” you reply, closing your eyes briefly.

Guiding you back to bed, he cocoons you under the covers, resting your head on his chest, he kisses your forehead before falling asleep together.

Okay so, my first thought is Taeyang would need to be pretty close with you in order to develop feelings in the first place so assume you guys are already really good friends.

Anyways ~~

• Your friendship with Taeyang was unexpected as you were pretty loud and extroverted while he was calm and introverted so others hadn't expected you guys to remain good friends for so long.

• Despite being perceived as someone cold, quiet and reserved, with you, Taeyang shows quite a different side

• In reality, he was just a sensitive and soft-hearted person who was very talkative and vibrant when he opens up

• You would even argue he was the more outgoing one in your friendship, always suggesting new cafes, art galleries, museums, city parks you guys should visit together

• As friends, you guys would also go as each other’s date to everything because it’s “convenient”

• You coordinate your outfits because #aesthetics

• But now you've got everyone thinking you guys are a couple

• Which you both don't really deny and just find it amusing

• But all of a sudden, you’re staring a little too long at each other

• Taeyang isn't one to play games or act hard to get. When he knows he has developed feelings, he will be straight forward about it and confess to you

• But he will likely be hesitant at first until he is completely sure you feel the same way too

• You do.

• As Taeyang is a super attentive person to begin with, the transition from friends to lovers is fairly smooth. He already knows all your likes and dislikes

• He is very nurturing and romantic in love, so he will often hold your hand in public, while would save kissing you and giving you back hugs in private

• All of which make your heart melt

• This is him trying his best to create an intimate connection with you

• Also wants to take pictures with you everywhere

• As his partner, you're now his full-time photographer…not that you weren’t already before lol

• You may also notice his character in your relationship changes slightly as he may act different towards you

• He starts being somewhat possessive more protective over you

• Asserting more responsibility of your relationship by becoming the organiser and planner for most things

• He’s always planning lunch dates, reserving dinner at your favourite restaurant, and even organising romantic nights away

• It’s like he wants to show you he can take the lead and take care of you
