SEGA finally decided to pander to Shadow fans after years of ignoring the prospect of utilizing him as a playable character. I guess I'm thankful to games like Sonic Mania and that other 2D platformer Sonic game I haven't had the time to get yet for showing them that people still do care about Sonic's friends.

yes. I do consider Shadow to be one of Sonic's friends
seriously though. 8 year old me desperately wanted a game like Sonic Generations with Shadow in it
