Personality: an anxious, over protective introvert who loves skateboarding and music. He values his alone time and will scorn anyone who ruins it for him unless that person is Matt. He plays guitar and bass and he has a calming singing voice, although he’s self conscious about it :)

Backstory: grew up in the city as an only child, just him and his mom after his father left him when he was eight years old. Became very close to his childhood friend Darren until the day Shaun chose Nate over Darren as leader of the faction.

16. why does Matt ask Shaun to dance, and how does it turn out?

Came up with a whole freaking scene in my head just to answer this question so here we go 😆

The faction gets stuck inside one night because of bad weather or something and Kay decides to put on some music and force everyone to have a dance party. At first, no one's really dancing, but that's fine, because they're singing along, bopping, and having a good ol' time.

Then one of Matt's favorites comes on (something loud, fast, and up beat) and he starts getting into it. After the first chorus, while still singing, he goes over to Shaun and tries to pull him to his feet. Shaun is like "fuck no. You cannot move me. I am a rock and I will stay firmly planted right here on the couch." But then all Matt has to do is flash the puppy dog eyes and say "please" in a tiny, cute voice and Shaun is done for.

They dance to the whole rest of the song, the rest of the faction cheering and clapping the whole time. They throw in some lifts and some spins as Matt tries to make the dance as flashy and extra as possible.

After the song ends, they kiss, and Nate and Reese throw popcorn and chips at them and boo and tell them they're gross.

But really they love them and they're so happy for them and if anyone gave them shit, they would fight for them

That got so rambly, I'm sorry 😅 I have so many thoughts and feelings about this now, thank you for giving me a reason to share them ☺️
