╰┈➤: ̗̀➛ RYUSEI was cuddling you happily, his arm securely wrapped around your waist before he pulled you closer to him until there was no gap left between you and him. He began planting tempting kisses on your neck, smirking in delight when he earned a soft moan from you.

You weren't feeling it today. In fact, your mind was in mess. You were scared to tell Ryusei but you knew you couldn't keep this to yourself much longer. Sooner or later, this was bound to happen. The burden in your chest was too heavy for you to carry on your own.

Whatever the outcome, you were ready to face it. It might hurt you, it might break you to pieces. But how long were you supposed to keep this thought to yourself? How much longer were you willing to put up with Ryusei?

"Ryu, please." Your voice sounded too meek, full of concern. "Not now... I'm not in the mood." You admitted, gently pushing him away. Ryusei immediately apologized and hugged you lovingly instead. "Oh, love. I'm so sorry. Did I make you uncomfortable?"

Your heart was tearing to pieces as you heard the obvious worries in his voice. God, you were in dilemma. Ryusei was perfect, a perfect partner for you. Loving, caring, considerate, kind, sweet.

He might be sexually active and addicted to touching you intimately but not even once he forced you into intercourse with him. He always started it slow first, seeing your reaction to determine whether you wanted it or not or asked for your consent first.

But one thing about him that you couldn't handle anymore; his violence toward people around. 

Ryusei was way too possessive and obsessive. He didn't hesitate to raise his fist against others who glanced at you, whether it was a woman or man. He treated everyone with equal treatment. Even if they were clearly weaker than him and in disadvantage at fight, he would beat them to death.

His jealousy issue was superincumbent. People around were terrified to approach you because of his violent behavior. He was a danger to everyone else...except you.

There was one time a friend of yours was beaten up to pulp. Ryusei saw them talking to you and smiling at you. Before you knew it, you were sitting on the floor as you stared at Ryusei in horror. His tanned face stained with your friend's blood, his bloody fist mercilessly punched their face until their face was completely swollen to the point they were unrecognizable.

This led to a fallout between Ryusei and your parents. You thought he wouldn't do anything to them but alas, even your parents weren't an exception. Ryusei threatened them to not get in the way of his relationship with you or he would take you far away from the until they couldn't see you again.

To avoid more bloodshed, you agreed to Ryusei to live with him. You didn't want to lose your parents after losing all your friends. You loved Ryusei so much. He was the only partner who had treated you well, compared to your previous partner. His only flaw was his jealousy issue and his violent side that became danger to others.

Your parents had advised you many times to leave Ryusei. But your heart still belonged to him hence you were reluctant to do so. Yet, as time passed, you realized it was wiser to end the relationship before everything goes out of control.

And today might change your life forever after this. Whether for the better or for the worse, you wouldn't know unless you take a leap of faith.

"It's alright... I'm okay. It's just-"

"What's it, (Y/n)? Something on your mind?"

"Y-yes... actually I..."

"Hey, hey. Take a deep breath. Calm down and slowly tell me what's worrying you.."

Your heart was aching. Ryusei was very worried of you without knowing your true plan. Were you cruel for trying to do this to him? Was this the right move?

"Ryusei, I..."

It was time. You had to brace yourself for the outcome.

"I want to break up."

It took Ryusei a moment for him fathom your words. He stared at you in disbelief. "What?" his voice was cracking a little. Ryusei shot a look of exasperation as his gaze met with yours. However, you avoided eye contact with him, hanging your head low.

"No, no. This can't be happening. (Y/n), why? What did I do? Did I hurt you? Did I unintentionally force you before? I'm sorry if that happened! I was unaware-"

"No, you never hurt me. But you keep hurting everyone around us."

Your voice was shaking as you finally told Ryusei the reasons behind your attempt to break up. He fell into silence, his face that was clouded with anxiousness suddenly went expressionless. He raised an eyebrow, confused by your words.

"What about them? I purely intend to protect our relationship from third party. We can't let anyone ruin us... There is nothing wrong with that-"

"THERE IS! How could you not realize it?! Ryusei, you- you don't know your limits! You rough up people around so severely as if you purposefully intend to end their life—"

"Yeah, I do. That's what they got for seducing you!"

"They WEREN'T! How could you accuse them of such horrid indictment?! They were innocent! They didn't do anything to endanger our relationship!"

You got up from the couch, rubbing your face in devastation. Tears rolled down your face. You felt disappointed with his lack of empathy toward others. Ryusei stood up as well and grasped your shoulder gently. He couldn't bear seeing tears staining your face.

"Oh, love... I'm sorry. I don't mean to upset you like this."

"Stop it. You keep apologizing but you always repeat the same mistake no matter how many times I told you."

"Hey, hey. I promise from the bottom of my heart this time. I won't...get violent with people around again, okay? So please, don't leave me. Let's stay together...forever."

"No...no..."

"Hey, hey, sweetheart. Look at me."

You didnt do as he said but Ryusei pinched your chin, turning your head to face him. He was smiling warmly at you. After all the harsh words you spat at him, he still wore the same warm smile you adored so much.

Ryusei cupped your cheeks, brushing off the tears. He planted a kiss on your forehead. "I swear...I swear I won't repeat that mistake in the future." He promised before pulling you into an embrace. He rubbed small circles on your back.

Ryusei acknowledged his limit to this promise. He realized it was impossible to contain himself from lashing out but if this was the only way to convince you to stay, he was willing to make more empty promises. Although he knew he would be labelled as liar again. He didn't care. His only concern was you; he wanted you and you alone.

You couldn't do this anymore. Your heart clenched in sadness. In the end, you didn't have enough strength to leave him. You didn't want to lose all this. His warm embrace, his bright presence, his gentle touch. You wanted to stay with him.

You were aware it was impossible to leave Ryusei. Because you would always find yourself going back to him regardless what happen. You broke down in the embrace, returning the hug at last. Ryusei smirked, knowing he had won your trust back effortlessly, again.

"...you promise?"

"I promise, (Y/n). I promise... I love you so I will keep my promise to the best of my ability. For you."

"You promise to not get violent, for me?"

"Yes, my love... I promise."

His soothing voice sounded too convincing for you to depict it as mere bluff. You nodded, believing in his words and even having stronger faith in him.

"I'm really sorry for bursting out like that, Ryu..."

"Don't be. You were stressed out because people kept pressuring you. I will make sure they won't bother us again."

Ryusei wasn't offended in the slightest bit. He looked into your eyes, his bright pink gaze flickering from your eyes to your lips.

"You know...I love you so much. I love you more than anyone else. You are my first and last love." Ryusei's arms wrapped around your waist, his hand dangerously moved down to your rear.

"I want to show you how much I adore you...again and again..."

You let out a soft whimper as Ryusei once again pressed tender kisses on your neck. You didn't push him away this time. Your finger entangled in his lock, string of moans escaping your mouth as he spoiled your neck with kisses.

"I love you too, Ryu...so much. So please...never stop loving me."

Ryusei smirked in your neck when he heard the familiar submissiveness in your voice. He knew he would never lose you. He had his own ways to make you stay through the most subtle way possible. He would do anything, anything to stay with you forever.

Because he couldn't let go of you. Never.
