I will be back. *fangirls in the distance that the nearby beach (50 miles)'s sea picks it up* I'm back. They are married, and officially canon (I'm telling you please read the manga just for them you shall not be disappointed). I will love Sorrento's loyalty is not to Poseidon as he realises throughout the Poseidon arc, but is to Julian. He cares deeply and in many layers for that blue haired himbo than to any greek g-d, I mean with exception to Athena but that is more like Athena is the guardian of the Earth and by linking with her, he and Julian can live well. Sorrento was Julian's bi awakening, yes Julian is bi-at Sorrento's side also their relationship in general is sweet and surprisingly functional considering the power dynamic of each other status as Julian being from a powerful affluent family with links with Pose which gives me an idea of them dealing with that. Plus Sorrento could use his flute in case Julian gets very bratty. Also this image below is them and their three adopted kids, yes they are their kids :D

Them having a past together, excellent exs, I see them as lovers to friends years before Genbu is omae wa shinderu desu. Kiki would miss him sometimes but even though they may became distant, they still got each other's back in their way and the way they hang out even years on not seeing each other, it's light and casual. Genbu is definitely an awakening for Kiki ha ha ha ha. HabiKiki/HabiKinki

Two opposites not just attract, no, the two opposites found each other interested and soon they hooked up as it is meant to be (despite Raki disagreeing with it ha ha ha). The dynamic is like Harbinger is crushing bones of their enemies and Kiki is like "here's the bloom and clean the mess, Raki is waking up from her nap soon." Honestly Jamir became 10000% safer thanks to Harbinger being unhinged. They find each other endlessly mysterious, discovering each other about themselves a bit and bringing surprises to the people. I love to think that Kiki really fell for him intimately, surprising himself but he is very sure of himself to pursue Harbinger for dear life. Harbinger didn't know he fell hard for Kiki as Pope until one day he just thought out it and it hits him hard how much he loves the Aries' company so much. He wants to be with the Aries until he passes away, Harbinger do believe in romance, believe it or not hahah. Thanks again for the asks.

The solution to Saga’s pathetic meow meow sadness is the blonde UwU guy. Both have striking eyes that is the last thing their enemies will see. A loyal fanboy to a corrupt villain. Shaka begs Ikki after Ikki defeated him to spare Saga’s life, muah, a chef’s kiss. I sense a corruption kink Shaka has and perhaps is curious what kind of god Saga envisioned to be. Both Shaka and Saga are in a deep hole together though Shaka is able to get out *pushes Shaka back in*

People wants to see them fight, we seen those memes and arguments over and over again, well, I agree, I want to see them fight, work together, make out heavily in the middle of the spar, look at the stars for fate, hanging out in Rodorio Village, and for Shaka to slap away Evil Saga to the subconscious in middle of sex in the Pope’s Chambers to bring back regular Saga, what a night.

There is a strong sense of mutual, natural respect between them, during the Hades arc. I have a theory that Shaka taught Saga the “taking 5 senses” technique because both were curious and had an interest in each other that Saga was willing to learn from Shaka - rare for Saga to do. This makes Shaka’s heart doki doki beyond his control. To him, it was the biggest praise and honour and compliment that Pope Saga got an eye with him.

I could see Shaka as well as almost anyone had a crush on Saga, Shaka’s crush still continues, even after years of understanding the way Saga is, despite disagreeing with some aspects, Shaka had always accepted him.

A couple if I find out they get together, I will be "good for them for getting together, we will drink (water) to that", because we are dealing with Deathmask, it is inevitable that "they would literally kill each other" will be highlighted hahaha, Shura would not mind that too much plus his excalibur is always sharp and ready for that crab ;) I'm sure they might have some violent kinks here and there but they act totally like homies after that, with homie cuddles. Personally, I still have hope and want them to surprise me that they can last long term because first impressions, they might not in certain circumstances but they potentially can. Also I dub this couple as "Rolled R couple"

An attempt of an AldeMu essay :3

It is surprising, more ground breaking than when baby Athena arrived at Earth and the reaction to that was a battle and a goldie’s death, that a cute, actively supportive relationship of Mu and Aldebaran thrived and blossomed in spite of the tensions within the Sanctuary, Mu being a handsome traitor to the Sanctuary and a upcoming holy war, oh my. Their relation is down to earth, relatively chill and interestingly I say it is more rooted in reality compared to most ships. This is because of the Sanctuary being less as a factor, a component of their relationship, if the sanctuary was no more tomorrow, both can adapt quickly to the society and take less time to adjust. I would say that the Sanctuary during the 13 years in a way separated them because Mu was in Jamir in his isolation and Aldebaran could not freely visit him. Hence that could explain partly their detachment from the Sanctuary before Athena took over. I could imagine some sneak around and the rare times Mu visited the Sanctuary, both worked hard to nurture their relationship and it worked. 

Canonically, in every Sanctuary arc, Aldebaran trusted Mu’s judgement of the bronzes when they entered the Taurus temple that prompted Alde to see these bronzes had potential and he wanted to witness that considering the bronzes’ goal is to get through the twelve temples and their opponents are the gold saints who will stop the bronzes are crazy powerful. So Mu and Alde had a similar idea of prioritising and empathising the seventh sense to the bronzes that did help them winning the Sanctuary war and knocked a Pope down hahaha. 

(Mu: That’s karma, kill a Pope, you die as one.)

Something about AldeMu that make me root for them perhaps it’s the friends to lovers (which is not majority of my ships, but some are), it’s more like both compliment each other, why not see if they are awesome as lovers which is a cool exploration, both are chill even when exchanging banter together (most of the time, Mu still got his unhinged side and Alde is like “that’s cool, honey” and only really intervene if Mu was in actual danger).

When I was writing this answer, I got thinking, and I think too hard but for a good reason, as I thought something I never thought of before. One of the reasons I ship them, them being happy defies the expectations placed upon them in their world. I like a bit of defying/making your destiny/decision aspect (as there is a power of making decisions which both have done to be together and worked hard for it). Mu being away and isolated in a way mirrors Shion’s fate of being isolated and alone in the Sanctuary which is rough for both of them, especially for Shion because it is been centuries and he had to built an army and for Mu, after Shion dies when he was 7, an young age he isolate himself up to his late teenage years which affects and stays in his psyche. That impact is still there but Mu and to some extent to the people he cultivates his friendships and other relations, navigate around that, his closest relation who he has been on his side the most, literally and metaphorically is Aldebaran in the classics and spinoffs. 

Aldebaran in canon wise, being portrayed and in comparison to the rest of the goldies as not as visible considering he plays not a big role in the Sanctuary in the 13 years (mostly he wasn’t seen or even implied), was he involved in the Sanctuary politics or did he stay out by his choice or lack of opportunity. However his own self, I like to think is true, that is he is faithful to Athena and keeps his head down and get things working, I headcanon him being a steady pillar, especially if there are times of instability in the Sanctuary, Mu leaned on him and rely on him for information and Alde would make sure to keep Mu safe considering I think he knew death could be ordered like it was for Aioros. That makes him significant, his authenticity and his giving love and mercy, almost he is a model saint but on his own accord and stand. That is Mu slowly fell for him and chose him because of his soft power and restored his faith in humanity and tried to do some good before the holy war took him.

Hades' arc is so heartbreaking, especially Alde’s death and Mu grieving for him in tears. 

Ah I cannot forget the important part of this awesome ship, both AldeMu and Kiki form a family unit, stable, strong and loving and multilingual lmao. Mu and Alde’s nurturing side in raising Kiki really shines and makes his life happy unlike their own childhoods. I often deny canon that I don’t acknowledge Mu and Alde’s death, but they are still around in Saint Seiya Omega, them being grandfathers to Raki and giving Harbinger a hard time haha. 

I have to thank CGI KOTZ for AldeMu wedding imagery when they are standing in front of the structure that looks like a church that we didn’t expect but needed, then after they got married they did the funeral/burial of Shion’s body and their fallen comrades. I have to thank AldeMu server for enabling me as always xD I thank every AldeMu authors and artists for creating fanfics, fanarts, events, doujinshi and headcanons for existing, inspiring and giving love every way to this ship.

Aiolos/Seiya

If they had a ship name, it would be RosSei (which sounds nice and almost sounds like rosé) and maybe they would name one of their kids as Rosé, after naming rest of their kids, Seika, Patricia and Thena (inspired by their role models, Seika and their goddess they serve, Athena) I feel they are on their way being friends/buddy/homie to lovers pipeline but they are comfortable where they are and might not want to move the next step, and whatever arrangement works well best for them, they accept. Both have a very strong homie relationship and it is sad in canon and spinoffs that they are separated by death, one is alive and one is dead but that does not stop them of having a strong mythological and zodiac connection together and having similar ideals and mindsets which that is why I see them getting along so well.

Sorry about the angst but seeing the ND ending....that final page you know had me thinking, maybe Aioros had some guilt for guiding Seiya through that and how things played out, and he would definitely take responbility and encourage Seiya to keep going. Seiya would definitely see Aioros as a pillar he can lean on before he can fight again and could open himself more being both as Sagittarius. From Aioros' side, considering Seiya is not a stranger compared to the bronzes and trusted him to wear his cloth and there is pain compared to his relations with the other gold saints because they have grown up without him being around and he missed out a lot that make him feels a outsider. His relation with Seiya make him feel less out of an outsider, more human (with sometimes some role model figure conflict). I wish that Aioros as a spirit visited Seiya when he is on wheelchair, speaking to him about anything, his story, holding his hand, waiting for Athena to come back.
