ShoreClan Lore

So I have a new main clan and I already have some art pieces of the cats in this clan, but before I post those I would like to share the lore of how this clan came to be...

At first all 7 cats of this new clan were in seporate lake clans, some in Thunderclan, some in Windclan, some in Skyclan, some in Shadowclan and some in Riverclan. All cats were dutiful and loyal to their clans and had no intention of leaving their clans. That was until all the medicine cats of different clans had different visions each about one or two cats in their clan. 

In Skyclan, Volepool dreamed of Skyclan surrounded in a thick haze and distant shrieks were heard from outside the clan.

In Winclan Rabbitwish, saw a fawn standing in front of the camp entrance and shrieks could be heard in the distance. Rabbitwish also saw a row of bushes being set a flame right in front of the camp and again screaming was heard in the distance.

In Riverclan, Otterpaw saw a giant webbed foot stood at the river in front of the clan’s entrance, and as in all the other dreams she could hear shrieks from the distance.

In Thuderclan Amberleaf  saw a vision of dark brown dots covering the camp from the distant shrieks.

And in Shadowclan Pebblepounce saw a vision of a lion roaring outside the camp and as always the distant shrieks could be heard. Also in Shadowclan Pebblepounce saw a river of squirrels running loops outside the clan’s camp.

The next time the medicine cats gathered at the Moonpool they all discussed their visions and they all eventually agreed on one meaning to all the visions. They thought that the visions meant of coming danger and that the lions fawns and flames were all the dangers that they were meant to get rid of. Each medicine cat figured which cat Starclan had sent them a vision of.

So in the early morning all the medicine cats awoke before the clan was awake and told the leader of their findings and of the prophecy. Each leader agreed to exile the cats of the visions. So when the clan next awoke the leaders announced to their clans which cats would be exiled.

So the as the sun was starting to melt into the horizon and the sky was turning a rosy pink a group of seven young cats sat on the border speaking to each other in hushed tones. And before long the rag-tag group of young cats started their journey toward the horizon....

P.S I also wanted to mention that ShoreClan is on clan gen so these characters are inspired by the clan gen ones and if something happens in clan gen it also happens in this story.

So! Here is Fawnstar the leader of ShoreClan! In my previous post I posted ShoreClan’s lore if you are interested, you can check that out! Anyways, about Fawnstar...

Fawnstar did not want to be made leader so early and so suddenly, she knew the others wanted her to be leader but she didn’t feel she was ready and so she put on a fake mask of confidence, but with time that fake mask started to turn into real confidence and skill. Fawnstar is a decently social cat that is great at negotiating with other clans and is therefore a great speaker to have on patrols.Fawnstar secretly really wants an apprentice but she knows that isn’t possible any time soon since the clan is so small and there are no mates yet. Fawnstar is unfortunately not a great hunter but she can still hunt decently well. Fawnstar is currently on her 8th life.

Another one of these! But this time it is the deputy of ShoreClan, Shorthaze! Originally a Skyclan cat Shorthaze is a wonderful deputy to ShoreClan, here’s more about her....

Shorthaze is a calm and collected deputy for Shoreclan, she is great at her job and some cats even say she was born to lead. The thought of being leader one day intimidates Shorthaze and she has no intention to take the leaders place before she’s ready. Whilst Shorthaze loves to organise patrols and is great at her job, she isn’t great at making friends.

Webstep is a fierce and aggressive cat toward any cat outside of ShoreClan, however to cat’s inside ShoreClan he is very wholesome and kind toward pretty much every cat in the clan except Flamebush. Webstep was originally from Riverclan and he often thinks back to his past life, Webstep is mated to Squirrelbrook the clan’s medicine cat.

Squirrelbrook was originally a Shadowclan cat, she was formerly a warrior until she joined Shoreclan and recieved a vision from Starclan telling her that she should be the medicine cat. Squirrelbrook is still an excelent fighter and often joins in and leads practice sessions. Squirrelbrook is a very defensive and skilled she-cat that only wants the best for her clan and prefers not to dwell on the past.
