Imagine Anakin introducing the twins to Padme (reminiscing how he introduce 3PO in Tattooine). Like how hard it is, the last thing she remembered is him choking her. But young Anakin? He adores the twins. Is that enough to make teenage queen Padme cry?

Anakin is eleven and hasn’t interacted with Palpatine yet, and this future Obi-Wan is a traumatized horror holding a baby that is? Apparently Anakin’s? Anakin’s still a baby he can’t have a baby! That baby is a real proper baby! It was just born! What if he drops it?!

It’s just a very awkward time for General Kenobi to show up with a baby that isn’t his but might as well be. I’m 50/50 on him still having Leia.

Like do we need an exhausted crying middle-aged warrior monk who just had the worst trauma of his life showing up in the middle of the Jedi Temple with twin babies that he can only blame on a person who is currently eleven?

Leia’s presence is just.

It’s just an added level of “can we make Obi-Wan cry.”
