i think gacha is an inherently harmful format for basically anything but it's really funny to find one that's based on an IP that can't sustain a gacha pace without reaching really really really deep into it's forgotten corners for new content.

There's a gundam gacha i play once in a blue moon in part due to it needing to go to extreme lengths for banners. we're talking mechs that literally only appeared in one magazine for one page back in the 80s, stuff from mangas nobody has ever heard of, a dude that was in the background of an anime 30 years ago for 0.3 seconds. all hyped up as the coolest new thing to gamble on.
