hey i saw someone ask about a cat thing yesterday and it occurred to me that i have an issue you could help with. so my cat is no longer baby and i no have big lap, so when he lays on me he often has to have out his claws for structural integrity. i wear thin pants most times, so he stab me and i go owewwww and it makes me move amd because i move he has to stab more to stay still™ so um help? how do i communicate that him stabbing me hurts while also keeping him on my lap and also not unintentionally hurting my bonito gatito

I haven't had this issue so I do not know, would recommend maybe a cushioned laptop tray? Or frequent clipping?

Putting this out there for additional help- anyone have ideas?
