Just imagining Ford giving hugs rn, feeling in the dumps because parental figure decided to be a POS. Just imagining him being there, giving reader a hug and telling them that it's going to be okay.
You don't need to smile all the time.
You don't need to act like it's always fine.
You don't need to be strong for once.
It's okay to cry.
It's not reader's fault that their parents think they're a failure when they've already achieved more than most. It's not their fault that their parents are greedy or narcissistic.
Just imagining him holding reader and patting their back as reader silently cries, he doesn't say anything else. He doesn't need to say anything else. He's just there, and that's enough.
