woke up thinking about the unstoppable force of julian's insistence that his friends call him julian versus the immovable object of garak's refusal to call him anything but Doctor ("my dear" or otherwise) so that's how my day off is gonna go i guess

and even tho he ends up learning a lot of peoples names its always bc hes close to them in some way good or bad
it IS intimate and its also kinda compromising. even in this context its EMOTIONALLY compromising
