So, what’s next?
I have this beautifully written arc where Cyborg Sonic slowly abandons his AI coding in search of freedom, happiness and purpose; but as he does, he slowly starts to realise he hates Sonic.
At first, Cy don’t mind me I like calling him Cy thought Bolts could just open him up and fix whatever was wrong inside his head. Now obviously that didn’t work and instead it have Cyborg Sonic more questions than answers.
Who is he, if he’s not Sonic? What is his purpose? What’s the meaning of his life, his creation?
Desperate for help, Cy looks for the one who gave him those questions; the hedgehog who first asked “who are you?”
Shadow the Hedgehog, boys.
This has now turned into my insane ramblings about how Shadow and Cyborg Sonic can be friends and maybe something more :3
Although we don’t know who or how; Shadow must have been made by someone in Sonic Boom. That’s kind of his whole story, so of course it must have happened in Sonic Boom too.
So think about it; how would Shadow react to someone just like him?
Probably not very friendly at first, but as he learn, I’m pretty sure Shadow and Cyborg could potentially form a bond with each other. Because drum roll they’re both created.
From that, they could grow to be friends. But the most important part of this narrative is Shadow teaching Cyborg Sonic to be his own person hedgehog?
And with Shadow guidance, Cy started to abandon his AI, the code he was created with, and he finally felt free.
Free to hate the one who put this miserable existence on him.
