KIN INTRODUCTIONS
The obligatory post to explain my kintypes because I can not shut up about it.
All are spiritual through alternate realities unless specified :3
AVIAN/WINGKIN
My wings are a part of my soul in a way. It's not past life, nor alt reality, is as if my soul has wings. My wings are very similar to this image, if not larger.
FICTIONKIN-- GHOSTBUR, DSMP
This is definitely my highest kin. I also had wings like Phils ! When I am shifted or talking about my memories, I will refer to myself as Aster. I do not support Wilbur soot.

Another high kin, very canon divergent. Once example of my canon divergence is that I was the one given Wilbur's jacket after he died! Many memories, much trauma /hj.

Definitely my most cringe in my opinion. I have some kin memories, but most of it is canon. We hart you homocidal man.

This is probably one of my lowest kins, mainly due to the fact I didn't interact with my media often. I'm not owlkin, but I experience certain owl tendencies when in Stolas shifts. I do not support Viziepop

My first awakened kin. Most of my memories lay in the movies, though I haven't seen past the first one sigh. If I ever see clips from the movies and see her, I go "omg it's me".

hey! if it’s okay to ask can you explain spiritual kinning a bit? i genuinely want to understand but for some reason can’t
hey !! this explanation might not be good, i'm not the best at explaining stuff, but i'll try :)
so uh i'll explain my defition of kin first because it might help a little
being kin is when you identify as (not with) a identity that is very often a nonhuman creature, but not exclusively, and you not only see yourself in that specific creature but you know you are this thing, deep in you
well, that's what i believe it's being kin, at least. most people in the community have equal or similar definitions.
spiritual kin is when the reason that you indentify as your kintype is spiritual. the most common spiritual kin experience is past lives, or at least is the one i see the most and the one i'm more familiar with. what i mean by a past life is uuhh you were this creature in a past life.. i think it's very self explanatory i don't know how to explain more than this. also, misplaced souls is a thing? yes, some people believe they were supposed to be said creature but their soul was misplaced in a human body. these are the explanations that i can remember at the moment, but there are others, too
since i'm mostly fictionkin i feel the need to explain my side too, because fictionkin people often believe in the multiverse theory, and that souls can travel through universes.
also, uhm, there are other ways to be kin, because psychological kin also exist! but i'm afraid i can't explain that because i don't understand it too much and i might say things that aren't actually true

• first thing, there was a lot of fire. wow who would've guessed that the flame world had fire? very smart behavior coming from me. sarcasm aside, there was fire, but not common fire. some specific areas had random flames that couldn't be extinguished, but different from normal flames, it didn't spread, the flames were contained in a small place. you could "put it down" building things on top of it, like roads or houses but since it didn't spread, most of the time there wasn't really a reason to do that, so everyone just left it there.
• because of the fire, it was always bright, we couldn't tell if it was day or night, but to be honest i don't think day and night were really a concept there for this same reason. the only place that could ever be dark was inside a building, because, well, fire can't get through thick stone walls.
• i'm unsure if there was a sky there of not, sometimes it looked like there was but it also looked like a gigantic ceiling. when we looked up it was a blurry deep red, and once i saw something that looked like mist up there, but it could've been just smoke.
• also, these flames were extremely loud, not a single place in that world was safe from the noise. not even ivlis castle, we could still hear the flames from .. what? third floor? yes, that place was always noisy. but it wasn't a disturbing noise, it was more like a background noise, like an AC or a fan. the flames were kind of relaxig in a way.
• every single building was made from this specific type of stone that looked like volcanic rocks. it was a red, almost black, material, and i think it was the only material that could block the flames, since i'm pretty sure the roads were made from the same thing. most buildings also didn't had windows, or had very small windows, i don't know why but probably for a good reason.
and uhm these are the only things i can remember for now.. i hope i remember more soon.
as i tough, my canon didn't had a killing game, we were just normal high schoolers !! that's great news !!
my whole class was a really big group of friends, everyone was friends with everyone. although, i'm unsure if shirogane was there or not, i couldn't see her anywhere.
but still, i had friends and i was happy, that's the only thing that matters.
plus, akamatsu said that she loved me. it absolutely destroyed my heart, in a good way.
i've been thinking about the surface since a while ago, but i've been exhausted the whole week. i'm better now so i'll be talking about what i remember about the surface.
so, the place where i lived in the surface was somewhat medieval looking, an old village in the middle of nowhere. it wasn't very big compared to other human villages i heard of.
i remember specifically that there was around 6 more children my age (10-12) , 8 kids younger than me (5-7) and 2-3 teenagers (16-17). that's probably too specific but it was something like that. i have memories of the other kids my age throwing things at me when i approached, and the older ones would become agressive when they saw me alone. i remember these kids went to the village school, but i never went there, probably because of money.
that was the same reason i didn't live in the village itself, my house was separate, closer to the forest. i usually would go to the village because they would ask me to get money to help the househood. most people didn't want to give me any kind of job so i would go home empty handed and uhm.. let's not talk about that part.
while the village was on top of a hill range, i lived closer to the forest, that was located at the bottom of one of the hills. i used to go there all the time, because no one would find me there. except for the older kids but i usually knew how to hide from them. the forest was very pretty, i used to collect rocks and mushrooms, i would pick them up and carry it with me or hide it in a tree stump. as far as i remember, there wasn't any form of wild animals living in that forest. probably because they were killed by the humans.
the reason i felt like talking about the surface is because i traveled last weekend and i saw some hills that made me remember stuff. but i don't know anything else, not trauma related, to talk about so i'll leave it here for now
so!! flame world economic crisis, huh?
some things i remember are the two places people used to live in. first there's where i lived, closer to the devils castle, the place you can actually see in the game. it was very small, as not a lot of people lived there. the houses were actually livable, with what you would expect in a normal house, even if pretty small. this part of the flame world had some places i would visit, mostly the karaoke bar, which i'm pretty sure didn't went out of business because of how often i would go.
on the other hand, the second part of the flame world, most of it, was living in misery. i know i used to live there before i started working for the devil, but i don't remember much about it. what i know is, the living conditiond were absolutely terrible, as most people didn't even had a house. i was one of these people, i used to live on the streets. that place was also really violent, and most people had to start a life of crime pretty early on if they wanted to survive.
i was relatively close with the devil, for many reasons. i - according to him - was one of his best workers, also i was friends with both of his kids, so i guess that helps. because i was close to him, i knew some stuff that most people didn't. for the people who lived in the castle, it wasn't a secret that ivlis prioritized the military over the living conditions of most flame world habitants. i'm almost sure the small things he did to those people were because rieta asked him to.
after the gray world invasion, were most people participated, the flame world was basically falling apart. a lot of people ran away from there.
most things from now on are very blurry, but i can assume that after ivlis married satanick, the two worlds became united? practically every person who didn't ran away already, went to the pitch black world. it was a very long process, and i died in the middle of it, so i don't know how things ended exactly.

➥ In my canon, there wasn't a killing game. All of our class was just.. Normal students in a normal school, not ultimate. Unsure if ultimate even existed.
➥ Most of my memories are from high school, since that's when I believe our class was complete. Before that, I'm pretty sure not everyone had joined this school yet. Not sure who tho.
➥ Pretty hazy but I think we were the C class, in like, how schools have different classes and stuff. So uh.. I think we're C. Not sure why but it's the feeling I have.
➥ I have almost no idea how my childhood was like, I only know that I was pretty lonely when I was a kid and the other kids didn't let me play with them. Why? Absolutely no idean still trying to figure that out.
➥ Oh but i know i used to cry a lot when I was around 6-7. Not sure how this is helpful in any way.
➥ I was around 11 or 12 when I changed schools for the first time. I don't know if I wanted to change because I had no friends or if I had to because I was moving or something like that, but I changed schools around that age.
➥ This new school was we're I met all of my friends. I have no idea what the name of this school was.
➥ I distinctly remember meeting Kaito and Maki when I first got there, but we ended up not becoming friends until much after, when we both befriended Shuichi and he kinda glued us together.
➥ In class I only really talked to Rantaro at the start, but again, we didn't became closer until some years went by.
➥ People like Kiyo and Tenko, maube Himiko, were transfered from other classes to ours for reasons I can't be sure. I remember seeing them around school but not in our class.
➥ People like Gonta, Miu (?) and Kirumi were already in the school, while Kaede and Shuichi entered im later years.
➥ The two last people to joing our class were Angie and Shuichi. Angie came to Japan a year earlier than Shuichi joined out school, which was the first year of high school.
➥ So uhh about my relationships. I'm convinced that Kaede, Shuichi and I were romantically involved, or maybe in a queerplatonic relationship. I have no idea how we worked. Maybe I was dating Shuichi and he was dating Kaede? But I wasn't? And we were in a queerplatonic relationship? It's confusing, but there was something going on for the three of us, that's for sure
➥ About my friends! I mean, at some point everyone was my friend, but my best friends!! Outsude of Kaede and Shuichi, definitely Miu and Gonta, and maybe Rantaro and Kiibo.
➥ I remember doing group projects with Rantaro every single time because if he wasn't there I probably wouldn't be able to finish it. He also helped me study when I was doing not so great in some subjects, which was very common actually.
➥ Miu and I were.. not very different from the game, but our relationship was less rocky because of the circumstances. Out of everyone she was probably the one I spent most of my time with, since we had lunch together, with Kiibo and sometimes Kaede and Gonta.
➥ Shuichi had lunch with Kaito and Maki everyday, and sometimed Kaede would go with him. She was probably the most sociable person in class she was extremely close with everyone. I don't even know how she managed that.
➥ Also, I think Miu was a year older than most of us, but she had to repeat a grade, so she ended up in our class. Or she was expelled from another school. Maybe both. But I know that we became best friends in less than a week.
➥ I don't remember much about Gonta but I know he was the first actual friend I made in my entire life, so he means a lot to me because of this. For one or two years, we spent all of our time together, only really having each other. He had some people he talked to in his class and I had Rantaro, but it wasn't the same things, we weren't friends in the same way.
➥ After some time we made new friends and talked with each other less and less, but our friendship didn't end and we still loved each other a lot. Even though I didn't talk to him everyday like I used to, we're still close.
➥ Uuhh I was also kinda of the nerd of the class, along with being the class clown. I was the one who watched anime obsessively and had a enormous collection of anime figurines and anime merch in general. I also liked gaming and would convince people to play with me, only to have them absolutely destroyed. You would think that the one who did all of this would be Tsumugi, but I'm almost sure that she didn't even exist in my canon, or at least not in this part of it.
I've mentioned kinning maybe twice here and just never elaborated on it, I should probably add my kinlist here at some point-
