I love that Lucifer's barely even trying to be a convincing Castiel once Dean's out of the way. An all-powerful, corrupted archangel with the boredom threshold of a kitten. And he just left most of his limited supply of fucks-to-give in the Atlantic ocean.
Also love that, while Dean was able to tell something was off about Cas from the get-go, easily picking up small cues and getting uncomfortable enough to be off balance, Sam's either oblivious (which is hard to credit, even when he's this distracted by world-ending brother issues) or so used by now to patiently and kindly making allowances for, 'Just Cas being Cas' that he takes this uncharacteristic behaviour as read. Maybe less of a stretch for him, having taken the brunt of drunk!Cas that one time.
The jeopardy level in this ep was too much for me. Time travel! How will Dean get back?! Submarine, torpedoes! Hand of God! Lucifer about to pop Sam like a messy water balloon! Aieee!
