I think I’m gonna like Hemmer

Hear me out… Spock and Hemmer definitely hooked up at least once. Just look at the facts:

They were both telepaths.

Spock introduced Uhura to Hemmer by basically just singing his praises.

They were both cast as wizards in the Elysian kingdom fantasy

Hemmer only really said goodbye to Spock and Uhura, those he was closest to on the ship. (He specifically said goodbye to Spock first, and told him to live long and prosper)

And let’s not forget that Spock was so angry and upset when Hemmer died that he had to leave the funeral early

I am recalibrating the communications array. The antenna assembly goes through the nacelles. I like to be thorough, and I've asked for so many of these recalibrations that eventually Hemmer got annoyed and said it would be easier to show me how to do it myself.
