Friendly reminder from your Auntie Dream to be safe on the internet and social media. Yes, you can make friends online that you like, but that doesn’t mean you should fully trust them.
Please keep private information private (address, phone number, social security, bank information, credit card information, and anything that can help someone track you down) as well as some personal information private.
While it may not seem at the time like your mental health or certain conversations you want to stay private will go public and everyone will know, it’s still important to keep some personal information close to your chest.
Because some friendships don’t last, and things you wish would have stayed within a circle of trust escape without context. So please remain safe out there, Stars.

Don’t be like Ghost and post a bunch of stuff on the internet, reread it, and then immediately delete the message as you realize it’s not something you should share with everyone and their mother.
