Another friendly reminder from your Auntie Dream!
The person you are interacting with is a fellow human being. They’re not just a name on a screen. Please remember to be kind to one another. There are real people going through real things on the other side of that screen.
Stay safe out there, Stars!

Positive reminder that you can get better. That you can better yourself and do better by others.
Remember that Zuko, the most loved character in Avatar the Last Airbender, was once an antagonist. That he did some questionable things. That he had betrayed his uncle and the gaang. But he bettered himself.
Zuko regressed during his redemption arc, and you will too, but remember that he learned and grew from his mistakes and became the fandom’s most beloved character.
Be like Zuko. Don’t give up on bettering yourself because you regressed and because people hate/are angry with you. It takes time. If his redemption arc only lasted a few episodes, then it wouldn’t have had the lasting impact that it has today.
Your redemption arc is underway. Don’t stop fighting to become a better version of yourself, Stars.

Practice self care today, Stars.
Take a shower or bath, even if it is for only 5 minutes.
Get out of bed today, even if it is only to go to the bathroom.
Brush your teeth, if only for a few seconds.
Eat something, even if it’s small.
I’m rooting for you :)

You’re not wrong for defending yourself. Be selfish. Take pride in yourself. Live a life you’re proud of, and don’t let anyone else’s negative view of you bring you down. Because this is your life.
It’s your life. If they’re not happy with it, it’s not their problem.
I’m apart of a system that struggles to defend themselves. Protectors sometimes fail to do this because other alters hold them back in fear of being perceived in a negative light.
But you don’t need to worry about that.
Today, I want you to make a list of the things you can and can’t control in your life. The things you have no control over? Don’t worry about them. Now, it’ll hurt when those things don’t go your way. That’s fine. It’s normal, even. But you should put more of your focus on what you can control.
We’re starting a new journal to help our mental health. I’m going to post the exercises we’re doing so that you may join us as we try and improve our mental health and self-confidence.
Stay safe out there, Stars! :)
