This goes out to all in the lgbt+ family. Stay strong, stay together and STAY PROUD.

My #StayProud Story-

For years, I’ve questioned basically everything about myself. In high school, I actively shunned the things I used to like as a child; and now, in an academy, I’ve begun to question my identity as a whole.

Luckily, I had friends who helped me get through those times. And now? Now we have each other. I’m learning so much about who I am as a person, and I feel like I’ve become something better because of it.

For those of you going through the same experience, please know that you’re not alone. You’re still learning too, and you’re valid because of it. For those who have found themselves, you too are valid for being who you really are.

And if any of you need to talk, just let me know.

Come April 20th, we shall band together online to empower the LGBTQ+ community. Write a tweet, a Tumbr post, an Instagram story etc with the hashtag #StayProud to let everyone know that they are valid and capable of doing anything; that we have each other’s backs! It might change the life of someone who follows you!
