I was watching Vampire Diaries and something Katherine mentioned got me thinking. She was shamed for having a child out of wed-lock, I don't understand why it is such a big issue, I mean at some point people didn't get married because it was not a thing, so why was it such a big deal to have a child before marriage when years and years before that people had no idea what marriage even was! 🤷♀️🤔😒😕
