For those using the Chrome Overlord: uninstall the YT app on your phone! Yes ditch it! Use the online version. Then switch to desktop mode on YT! Open the vid you want to watch, start it and switch to another tab! Then you can move on and you have background play. 😀

posting not only as a critique of the profit motive under capitalism but also because I fucking hate youtube premium

lol yesss f u youtube suuuckers they are hiding the button to switch to desktop mode but you can find it its the three dots on your chrome tab not the one YT presents.
