Imagine because the only human Tarantulas fully trusts and maybe just maybe...you're more than just a friend to him

You're a family friend of the Maltos', so you're quite familiar with the bots and cybertronians in general

but never have you seen such a...handsome spider?

it took a lot of time for this mech to trust you tbh...and likewise. Decepticons didn't have the best reputation even after the war was over, and he couldn't shake the feeling that you had ill intentions

however, the realization came to him in a rather mundane moment. He was working on his hologram device while you sat on one of his tables, explaining some details that could be useful to make his hologram look as natural and organic as possible. He stopped working to listen to your voice, the way you spoke so calmly and never once acted out aggressively with him. Hell, you were here alone with him, spending time with him, and every time you visited there was an excited grin on your face. You couldn't possibly enjoy his company, right? Humans shouldn't be trustworthy

but hey, you were different

so now it got to the point where you were cuddling with your cybertronian partner, on his makeshift nest (I headcanon he has a soft nest thing in the webs where he rests) his servos cradling you near his spark as you both peacefully relaxed

you give Tarantulas attention and coo at him, he's a puddle in your hands. Doesn't matter that he towers over you, he is a puddle in your palms. hold him gently

gets sooo flustered easily, compliment his skills at his projects and he starts tripping over his words. call him handsome and he just wants to scoop you up with his many spider-limbs and hold you near his face. ask him to talk about his projects and he excitingly tells you about them as you sit on his shoulder

nightshade is the first one to know about your relationship obviously, your secret is safe with them! hopefully

tarantula kisses with his fangs(?)...

• hes a worrier ,, but he cant help it :( hes in hiding from them ,, and when you leave him alone to go to work or just out and about in general he worries for you

• it only makes him work harder on his hologram ,, not too worried about how it looks just wanting it to work properly without it bugging out or being traceable

• he loves when you bring him little scraps and bits that might be helpful to his inventions ,, he gets all giddy about it

• tara is hella affectionate <33 he cant help himself ! youre so small and squishy ,, and he just has the need to always hold you close to him

• he loves carrying you around in his extra paws whenever he gets the chance ,, like how he walks on his spider legs instead of his actual ones in his bot form ,, he carries you around in extra limbs ,, sometimes keeping you away from inventions that can be dangerous or just because he feels like it

• he loves to give you little head pats ,, or mess up your hair in general ,, he also loves when you kiss his mandibles <33 he chitters in adoration as he coos to you

• some days you stay inside with him ,, and pester the mech until he takes a break from whatever hes working on ,, and you get him to watch disney movies or impractical jokers with you

• he definitely goes snacking through your cabinets when youre not home ,, he likes to try all the things you eat ,, and it doesnt help that sometimes he wants to take a few extra brownies for himself 🙄🙄 or maybe some extra pudding cups
