I remember a theory from somewhere that the reason no suspected Cale's change was because the God of Death 's minor influence to make everyone less suspicious about KRS!Cale. Whenever I read fics like this, I always go along with that theory. GoD is biased, that's just a fact, so it makes sense to me if he kinda forces the mortals around his child to accept him so everything is just easier.
Now for the rare fics that don't do that, I take as the natural reaction of your child being replaced by a stranger under your nose. This could also lead to a rift in KRS!Cale's group, with one side not cared about the deal because they meet Cale as KRS!Cale and never knew the Og!Cale, and the side that wants to at least talk with Og!Cale about the whole mess/can't really accept the deal.
Tbh I feel like everyone finding out it probably gonna be late in the novel, because if it's found out now, in part 2, with the hunter mess, it's going to make it extremely difficult for KRS to deal with them... Or the hunters might do that BECAUSE it'll make KRS at least slow down in his hunt for them.

I hate it when people think that it's going to be alright when the Henituse family finds out the truth about Kim Rok soo. Like wtf so you really think that deruth would go like this when he finds out the truth about the transmigration. Oh no my son is gone but it's alright cuz the person who is possessing his body is a good man :) like bruh he will wreck havoc. He will try everything in his power to bring Cale back no matter who is it in his body. If anything he will restrain his movements. He might not have been a good father to og Cale but that doesn't means he is going to completing ignore the existence of his son ??? I have read fics were people just be like this Deruth finds out about KRS Also Deruth - ik i just lost my son but so what the man in there is a son to me too.

Bruh Og Cale has been with Deruth since he was born. That's 18 years. And KRS 3 years . Who is the real son??. They do the same for Ron, basen and Lily. It's so unrealistic and tics me off.
It's as if the tcf fandom is scared that their might be people who might hate KRS.
No one hates KRS for anything he has done . But it's extremely natural for them to be furious that their eldest's body is being posessed by some random person. Of course that doesn't mean that KRS has done something wrong. It wasn't his choice to begin with. Rosalyn, Choi Han , Alberu , Lock. These are people who didn't know about OG Cale so it doesn't matters to them. But Ron , Beacrox, Deruth and his Family knew Og Cale.
It's very obvious, that if ever they find out the truth it's gonna mean trouble for KRS.
