Can we get some details of Jimmy(?) Sawyer
TCM OC: Jimmy Sawyer (Sawyer bros dad)
Super energetic kid (like nubbins and Choptop) and couldn’t wait until he was old enough to work in the slaughterhouse just like his dad
Got his birth mark from his mama (even though hers is way smaller) and she would always call him her “strawberry boy” because of that
He met his wife Darla when he was 15 and she was 14 under a tree where she was crying over what her mom had said to her and after a while of talking he fell head over heels for her
He was going to marry her anyway when she turned 18 so when they found out she was pregnant with Drayton it didn’t damper his need to marry her
When the depression hit (Drayton was already born in 1920 so he would’ve been a young kid) he started to become a workaholic in order to keep the family afloat and since then had a deep fear of running out of money and continued to work even into his 60s (this is where Drayton gets his money worries from)
He secretly regrets not being there as much for his family because of his work and tries his best to make it up to them whenever he’s around (even though they don’t blame him for it he still has this need to help them and make things right)
Taught all his boys how to hunt but taught the younger three taxidermy since Drayton was uncomfortable with it and he didn’t want to push him to do something he didn’t want to do
While he was a bit disappointed that Drayton wouldn’t work in the slaughterhouse he was still very proud that he was able to open up a business of his own
Would always slow dance with his wife and the kids (particularly Bubba) would secretly stand nearby and watch them
When he and his family quit the slaughterhouse out of protest he decided to travel to go find work with Darla choosing to come along, but they would make it because they became the victims of a serial killer
He would try to protect his wife by fending off the attacker and telling her to run but he was outmatched and the killer took after his wife, both of them were never found and in the after life he feels guilty that he couldn’t protect her but she doesn’t blame him so because he can’t move on and she refuses to leave his side they are currently stuck in purgatory
When there kids and grandpa die and have to be sent to hell they BOTH (along with grandma sawyer) decide to go with them since family always sticks together no matter what
(That was kinda sad at the end there so here’s my first ever concept doodle of the Sawyer parents and baby Drayton 😊)

This fic honestly inspired me to make this piece of the EveChop wedding day! I also love the little parallels between Darla’s and Evelyn’s wedding days, it really shows that you took the time to learn about my characters personality and life and I feel so honored and over the moon with that! Ur a great writer and I love all the little pieces you make for me so I thought I’d return the favor! This was really fun to draw and I hope I did them justice like you did with my characters!

My brain is thinking they would have a mother daughter type relationship. Also I thought I write how the wedding was. This is before their deaths
Darla looked Evelyn up and down. Evelyn wore the dress Darla wore when she was marrying Jimmy.
"You make my Robert so happy. I can't wait for you too" she said softly putting a flower hair piece in her hair before she walked her out.
Jimmy held out his arm to Evelyn. Walking her down the aisle.
After the vows
Robert got onto the stange and started to sing a song
Darla soon came up to Evelyn and danced with her.
