This is a very compassionate response. And I agree. While watching, it was my sentiment too.
But it will get sorted out. 3 more eps!!!
Sam was really holding everyone together this episode huh...my dude has not had one single second to breathe for this entire show. Walker is being actively hostile, Zemo is playing the "will I won't I" game with Bucky's sanity and is entirely untrustworthy, Sharon is now crooked because of what happened to her, and Bucky is not only 100% getting massively triggered by this situation, he still does not understand why Sam wouldn't take the shield and is now indicating that he might just take it himself. And all of that is just falling on Sam to deal with. Everyone just threw him into the thick of things (Zemo is free! Sharon doesn't want to help you and you need to get her to! Oh also you're Smiling Tiger now!) and he was on his toes the entire episode.
And all of this is combined with the fact that now everyone is either taking pot shots at him for not taking the shield, or actively trying to drive a wedge between him and his singular ally (thanks, Zemo). If Sam wasn't, like, the most stable Avenger, he would've cracked a long time ago, but I'm getting worried for him. How long can he handle literally everything being against him?

As a black, American woman, in my experience I’ve found that people from other countries have great perspectives on the cultural traps Americans set for themselves. They make it very plain to us.
I think the creators of TFATWS do a great job of using global perspectives to raise a mirror before our American Avengers’ faces. It’s good for the American audience. Like...Sam was definitely being racist against himself. Zemo cut that short, quickly. Bucky had no opinion.
(I want to add that we’re easily manipulated by other countries over our racial hatred. However, we have the most solid constitution in the world. As a paralegal student, that’s how I feel.)
BUT like Zemo, the most white eastern/central European dude, out here acknowledging the struggles of the Black man in America. BRUH the man is woke as fuck/hyperaware and not at all gullible or naive. It shows the stark difference between Bucky and Zemo.

Like can we talk about how Zemo spoke of Marvin Gaye and the African American experience on the jet and was spitting straight facts on the bridge when Sam thought he looked like a pimp???
