it’s kind of rough when you hit those patches of art where your expectations and your theoretical knowledge have surpassed the quality level of your actual art by like a million miles and you’re left to either wallow in anger at yourself or to redraw something a lot of times from scratch until you stop making the mistakes you can see but can’t quite avoid yet.
I like the rendering on the first one but the depth and composition and colors weren’t what I wanted and I am slowly learning how to get them there over the course of this picture. But I am trying, you guys!

so this is me finally getting somewhere on the giveaway front
I had a loss of a family member I was close to and a lot of stress at work over the last month
and for some reason during it all I decided diet and exercising in the hot texas sun was also a thing I was going to do
and I think I burned myself out emotionally and was too physically drained to recover as well as I should have
thanks for sticking with me and thanks for all the nice words I've gotten
I haven't responded to anything right now because I'm still trying to get over that crash that happens after DO ALL THE THINGS becomes
