pride politics some very excellent points made down the reblogs only thing i might add is that it is in fact an extremely traumatizing thing in its own right to be told Over and over by even the parts of society you're supposed to belong to that the things which turn you on the ways you want to fuck and the people you want to do those things with are inherently Damaging and Bad and Traumatizing to other people somehow that your private sexual interests must remain private lest they traumatize The Children (even and *especially* if you ARE one of The Children when you first learn this) your sexual trauma does not entitle you to traumatize others about thier sexual desires
