I colored the drawing of Jon!!

a small child approaches you as you wait inside the duke's office in the fortress of meropide, with short wavy hair and glue and green eyes. you haven't really seen her around before, but she seems to know you. or at least, deems you safe enough to approach.

she eats another bite of her cake. i grin, observing how the small child wipes her face with her sleeve and glances around the office.

she looks at me, her dual colored eyes enchanting along with her dark hair. i reach out and pat her head, she shys away in the slightest, but then reaches out to hold my skirt again, and yawns.

“you’re sleepy?”

“mhm…um…uh-uh. uncle said…i need a nap. but i don’t want to.” she says, shaking her head. she suddenly looks adorably droopy.

“Dolasach? Where are you…?” a familiar voice calls. the little girl perks up, hopping off the couch and runs to the top of the staircase. i stand just as Wriothesley appears and we lock eyes when the little girl grabs his hand and pulls on it.

“uncle. i had cake.” she admits. Wriothesley laughs and rubs at her head - a little roughly but she doesn’t seem to mind. he picks her up and she places her head on his shoulder.

“you still have to nap, kiddo. the cakes are for after that.”

“….okay. Gray is nice. she’s the one who gave me cake.” she yawns again.

i watch from my place still at the red velvet couch. “How about you come and do a day’s work instead of sitting on your ass, twiddling your fuckin’ thumbs while you wait to patch us up. Perhaps you’ll change your tune then.”

Rolling your eyes, you moved closer to Mingi, your eyes connecting in the mirror. Your hands fell to his shoulders, rubbing them soothingly. Despite his harsh tone, you knew that he didn’t mean those words. Something else was eating him up from the inside out.

“No one blames you, Mingi. You did a noble thing and everyone appreciates you for it.”

Mingi grit his teeth, partially from the pain and partially from frustration as tears threatened to fall.

“Everyone thinks I’m a fucking joke. Mingi, the comic relief, always needing to be saved after his latest fuck up.”

for the love of god, endos, endo-adjacent, non-disordered, non-traumagen, so on... please just don't use this. this is not for you. this is for people with a CDD, which are inherently trauma disorders.

since CDD systems don't exactly have a symbol to represent ourselves that's by us, for us; at least that we know of (as i believe ‘&’ was created/popularized by endos as a symbol for ‘plurality’, and just feel personally uncomfortable with it; not to mention how they have a couple other symbols they use for themselves). so, we've decided to make one!

we've based it off of diagrams of the planetary orbit; we'd say there's two different ways of which to interpret the symbols details, but the big picture of it is simply: our solar system is the reason planet earth even has the capability of developing life forms like our flora and fauna, without everything in the placement it's in, we would not be alive today. much like how, without our systems, we would not be alive today. now, as for the interpretation of the details:

on a smaller scale, the spaces between each ring (orbital path) can be seen as the dissociative barriers between alters, with the alters being the circles (planets) on each respective ring. the inner circle (sun) representing survival and healing, as we formed as a means of survival but are now working to heal from our traumas.

on a larger scale, you could see the the spaces between each ring (orbital path) as the dissociative barriers between layers, the circles (planets) on each respective ring representing subsystems within those layers. the inner circle (sun) is always to be interpreted the same.

essentially, it's just capable of being interpreted in both ‘classic’ and complex system structure. the ring of circles (asteroid belt) is either meant to represent more alters, fragments, or the general feeling we have of a fragmented sense of self oftentimes.

this took us a little bit of brainstorming and adjusting to create until we ended up with something we like, so we hope the community likes it as well!
