Here's my tiny little analysis of a few scenes 😍

This is right after Neil gets pulled out of the dorm room to talk to his father. Charlie looks at Meeks with this face, they definitely know what's going on.

This is right after that scene. You can see Neil is about to cry, even sob. But Meeks says 'Latin, 8 o'clock my room? ' distracting Neil from crying and his father.

This is as Hager comes to get Knox before the go to the Danberries house. Knox is shown looking at the pictures that Keating talked about in the prior lesson.

Random ones I don't have pictures for:

Todd is having a panic attack in the shower scene. He's zoned out and breathing heavily.

In the like, community room, Todd is the in the corner trying to write but his hands shaking.

The camera turns to Neil when Keating says: 'we'll all turn cold & die. '

Charlie pats Neil on the back as they stand on Keatings desk, just thought it was sweet.

Stick is handing out the balls in the PE scene, maybe because he has selective mutism, and Keating knows.

When reading at the cave, Neil says a story about a woman doing a puzzle with a madman. Two scenes later in Todd's improv poem, he calls Whitman a madman, showing he really listened to Neil.

Neil falls while trying to carry Keating.

When Charlie plays his saxophone, Cameron says a very funny line: 'Has anyone got any earplugs? '

Todd is the first one to clap after Charlie's performance.

The party scene shows how much Welton was left out of teenage years. Knox dressed up completely, gets wasted and thinks it's acceptable to kiss an unconscious girl.

Neil gets nervous when talking to his father, as he stutters and looses his words.

DPS BOYS AS ANGEL FACE SONGS

Neil: Be More | Honestly, this one is kind of self-indulgent. This is my favourite song on the album and I am also head over heels for Neil. So… but still, it kind of fits him. Neil is the romantic kind of guy. He definitely slow-dances to this song or just lies on his bed with his eyes closed while this plays.

Charlie: Something About Her | When you ask Charlie his favourite song he will definitely say ‘High’ to sound cool and all, but it’s actually ‘Something About Her’. He likes the romantic edge it has to it, though he would never tell anyone. I also feel like Charlie would do great in the “playboy falls for one girl that doesn’t like him” trope. And the last line of the song just feels like him realising he might be in love for the first time ever.

Todd: Until I Found You | It is a classic and he loves this song. He sings it in the shower and plays it when he needs inspiration for his poetry. And yes, he daydreams about Neil to this song.

Knox: Only Girl | You cannot tell me this song isn’t Knox-coded. Especially with the whole Chris situation he’s got going on. He definitely sings this to her. He also yaps to the other poets about how Stephen Sanchez just ‘gets’ him.

Pitts: Shake | Oml, you have never seen better funky moves than when Pitts puts this song on. He is VIBING. Sometimes he drags Meeks along to dance with him. And when the saxophone solo hits he starts playing air saxophone like his life depends on it. Charlie is actually very impressed by how accurate it looks.

Meeks: High | Like Pitts, he is vibing. But this is more low-key. I also think that he’s just here purely for the vibes, because I definitely headcanon my boy Meeks as ace. But he just ignores the lyrics. Also, he doesn’t do air guitar but he has an out-of-body experience during the guitar solo. This is also the song they play when they’re chilling during cave meetings.

Cameron: I Need You Most Of All | Cameron isn’t really the romantic type, but he does appreciate this song. He even does little 50s dance moves. Not to mention, my man is a shower singer and goes all out when this one comes on, he even attempts the ridiculous high note towards the end and fails miserably (don’t we all). But Charlie has actually caught him and recorded him from a distance (just the singing) and now uses this as blackmail so Cameron can assist him in pranks he pulls on teachers or Mr. Nolan.

DPS BOYS ON HOLIDAY

Neil: Neil likes to go on city trips. He goes to museums and will spend more time in the gift shop than the actual museums. But he just loves walking around in cities he doesn’t know, like casual sightseeing. He’s not super into it, but he definitely enjoys it. In restaurants he will definitely talk to the waiters and asking them questions about the area, this gets Todd really flustered.

Charlie: Charlie is an all-in resort man. He goes to a resort for two weeks with his parents every year somewhere by the Mediterranean. All he does on holiday is go to the beach, drink an insane amount from the hotel bars and flirt with every person his age he sees there. He does the little move where he slowly pulls his sunglasses down and winks at the person he’s flirting with. It’s his signature move and it works every time.

Todd: Todd prefers resorts. He likes a holiday where he can just relax and doesn’t stress constantly (v anxious boy). All he does is sunbathe and go on walks along the beach. He does NOT go swimming, unless someone forces him to. He hates swimming in public.

Knox: Knox doesn’t really have a preference between a relaxing holiday and an active holiday. As long as there is food, he’s happy. He’s the kind of guy to go on holiday somewhere just for the food. Takes way too long at restaurants and wants to stop at every ice cream shop they pass. He always has food but miraculously doesn’t gain any weight because he has a really high metabolism (I wish).

Pitts: You can take Pitts almost anywhere, but he is incapable of sitting still. This man must have something to do. When he’s at a resort he’ll constantly be walking around, exploring every nook and cranny. During city trips he likes to see everything and walks very fast. But since he’s so tall and has got very long legs, he walks really fast. So he always has to wait on the others.

Meeks: Meeks isn’t one for a ‘relaxing day by the beach’ holiday, this man LOVES city trips. Especially if it’s old cities with a lot of history. He loves going on guided tours and always holds up the tour by asking the tour guide extra questions. He is determined to see EVERYTHING there is to see. Meeks will also be the one booking the activities beforehand and planning everything.

Cameron: Cameron prefers city trips. He likes making memories and seeing new places. This is why he takes millions of pictures everywhere they go. Like they have to stop every five minutes because this man needs multiple pictures from multiple angles. When he gets back from the trip his storage will be full. Then devotes a day to filtering out all of his pictures.
