While I still have Bane on my mind, I would like to propose the following AU: We increase chaos by moving Bane's 'Hey, Bruce I think we're brothers' arc from Gotham Knights to take place at the same time as Under the Red Hood.

So Bruce is over here getting terrorized by Jason when Bane shows up and is like 'yo, I think we're brothers'

Alternatively, Jason pulls his duffel bag full of heads gambit only instead of Batman and Nightwing showing up to confront him, Bane gets out of the passenger seat

Jason trying to have a dramatic confrontation with Bruce, but Bane is just there because he refused to leave. He doesn't know who Jason is or what this whole deal's about.

Bruce is having to simultaneously confront the fact that his son might have come back from the dead and the fact that Bane might be his half brother

He has the paternity test running on one lab bench and the jason dna test running on the other

I'm not sure what Jason's opinions on this are, but he probably has no idea who Bane is. Look, this mysterious brother of Batman wasn't in any of the files Talia gave him!

(He was, but it was is in the Knightfall file he didn't read underneath the plague and earthquake and joker last laugh and bruce getting arrested for murder files he also didn't read and the gang war file that he at least skimmed)

On a more serious note, I bet Dick and Tim and Barbara, etc think that Bruce about to go off the rails again because they came out of the gang war and Bruce is dealing poorly with the Jason stuff and also, he's hanging out with Bane????

idk. I just think this would make things worse in entertaining ways
