𝑨𝑩𝑶𝑼𝑻 𝑴𝑬:
Hi there, the name's Booka and I like writing! I'm 19 years old, use they/them pronouns, and I'm a November scorpio in my second year of college.
This post is going to include my rules, my masterlist, and just in general be a navigation post. I'm currently on a Shigaraki and Dabi kick, so that's who I'm going to be writing for mainly, but I'm always down to talk about/write for anyone from my fandom list (shown below). If there's anything you'd like to know about me, feel free to ask, and thanks for reading!
𝑾𝑰𝑷𝑺: I'm currently writing Lecture Hall Laughter, a Shigaraki x reader fic, which can be found here.
I'm currently working on a request from an anon, also for Shigaraki x reader.
I will be working on a series where Dabi, or more appropriately, Touya Todoroki, gets hit by a quirk that turns him into a cat. And when what should be a gorgeous, dark russian blue cat, but actually looks like a burnt piece of paper, appears on your doorstep and practically bullies it's way into your apartment, who are you to say no? Dabi/Reader.
I will be working on a one shot of comforting Shigaraki during a panic attack.
My requests are OPEN.

I don't mind if you interact with my work as a minor, as I'm not a specifically NSFW blog, but when i do post smut, please do not read it as a minor. Ship: Laurent Thierry and Dorothy
Song; Ghost of you by five seconds of summer (I think my chemical romance sang it first but I’m not sure)
Reason; It’s about a guy basically hallucinating the love of his life after she dies or leaves and if that doesn’t scream Laurent after Dorothy dies I don’t know what will. Great song it’s really good and it actually took a while for it to click that; oh this is Laurent. This could be sang by Laurent some days after Dorothy dies. And he’s mopping about this big house that used to be theirs, waiting for her to pull the wool over his eyes; and come out with this was all and elaborate trick for my own amusement, or to keep him in the con life, or for whatever reason and she doesn’t. And that breaks him a little more every day. And he sees her everywhere; both in her stuff and the places they sat but he also literally sees her in his self destructive caused hallucinations and fever dreams. The lines “ so I drown it out, like I always do/ dancing through our house with the ghost of you” is just so much about how Laurent would rather drink to see her hallucinations, although they torment him, that live in a world that she’s not in. Before he committed to that long con he was basically doing the same thing that he was doing before Dorothy came barging into his life with her cons and her schemes and her smile, he was running away.
So definitely listen to the song l, it’s great and if you do and have any feelings about it definitely send an ask or something 🤗
It has been such a long time since I’ve done one of these. I planned to do every Monday but I keep forgetting to compile songs and who they remind me off while listening so I always come up blank on Mondays. And also I’m a huge procrastinator 🤷🏿♀️ (but details) so im going to try and do like three of these in addition to the one I’ll do on Monday. So here goes I guess.

Fandom; The Great Pretender
Ship; Edumara x Laurent and Laurent x Dorothy (past)
Song; Deja Vu by Olivia Rodrigo
Reason; it actually took a few listens to get why this song kept bringing me back to the great pretender specifically; Laurent, Makoto and Dorothy. But then it hit me; Laurent is objectively trying to embody Dorothy (like he makes less bouncy but in his own way he’s trying to be her and be what she was to him to Makoto) and that is exactly what the song is about (albeit more in a romantic and jealous? sense) if Dorothy were to song it I think it be more teasing (like making fun of Laurent for trying to be her). And honestly I don’t think the real Dorothy would care enough to be jealous (I mean she did t seem that invested in their relationship, at least not the way Laurent was, and she’s a natural lone wolf and plus she doesn’t seem the type to be if I can’t have you no one can) but like the hallucinations of Dorothy that seems to follow Laurent around would definitely song this song , because it’s Laurent (through a projection of Dorothy) mocking himself for this character he created that is basically just Dorothy. The song is sang from the perspective of a girlfriend that showed her boyfriend all these cute amazing things and Introduced him to all these things that he then shows to his new girlfriend. And that is what Laurent is doing ( albeit in a more traumatizing way ) but I’m sure there were some more lighthearted places or things that he showed Makoto that Dorothy showed to him. Like the line from the song “That was our place I found it first, I made the jokes you tell to her” I’m sure there were some jokes that he did that Dorothy did in-fact tell him; Laurent adopted Dorothy’s persona (or what he felt that to be) and made it his mask and in his grief he turned them up to eleven and that’s how you have a Laurent that never takes anything seriously and never tells Makoto the full plans even when he is objectively traumatizing him. (I think it was implied that sometimes Dorothy would leave out details of the plan to Laurent but never anything that would actively traumatize him and it was never out of a get a sincere reaction m, after that first time, but like a you don’t need to concern yourself with that). So yeah Deja vu has strong Makoto, Dorothy and Laurent vibes. But less jealous and more mocking. It’s a really good song if you haven’t definitely give it a listen

Listening to Songs About Jane by Maroon 5 and Not Coming home comes up and all I can think is that THIS SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE LAURENT !!

But the lyrics sounds like something makoto would say to him. I wish he wouldve had a moment like THISS at the end of case 4, BE MAD OMFG THEY TRICKED YOU SO MANY TIMES PLEASE YOUR LITTLE ACTING PLAN WASNT ENOUGH FOR ME, phew had to get that one out heh,
Anyways Im now imagining idk band au makoto singing it while directly making eye contact with laurent ^^ kinda hot
