sometimes i feel just like laika on her cursed one-way trip

she fell straight to the moon on her love-made rocket ship

her last words were these, all alone in outer space:

"i never knew the moon would be the last ball i'd chase"

poem poetry Laika space dog space couplets i debated making this a limerick but i don't know that many rhymes the last line would prolly be “and now her brothers howl at her and they yip” but that's mid so I didnt i just like the idea that dogs are howling at laika not the moon
