Got the sugar out of the top cupboard to refill the coffee cup. When i closed it the bottom cupboard on the OPPOSITE SIDE opened. Why?

Was unloading the dishwasher. Sugar for our coffee is kept in a coffee cup. Absentmindedly tried to put the coffee cup up. Life isn’t fair.
