I think it's very important to mention the Met's shitty practices with stolen art and also the ticket price while people are starving at home in the US and abroad in countries like Palestine (Palestine protestors are outside the MET). While the met does have a history of not supporting zionism (this is also pretty weak tbh, they seemed more scared of pro-Palestinian people than they did of supporting genocide), it's also ultimately an organization that wants to make money and the met gala is extremely out of touch.
