the black haired, green eyed main character, chosen one and saviour of the magical world that exists along with but unknown to the humans that is very brave and has a hero complex but is also really stupid and an adorable funny idiot, who gets thrown into said magical world with minimal help at age 11-12 and meet other magical kids at a educational and training facility where a wise and old man guides them

and of course, their blonde, gray eyed significant other, a smart and witty magical person who they didn’t get along with at first, who is much more knowledgeable in the magical world and its workings, who has a parent that does not like the main character.
