The Americans is pretty damn boring this season.  But it’s still fun to look at Mathew Rhys’s depressed face.

Well, that’s Berlin.] As far as action movies go, there’s only so much you can expect… Good guy versus bad guy and everything good happens in the end. Then you have films like Atomic Blonde which with its 80s new-wave gives you a lot of fun and an fresh take on something new that uses old elements to tell a story. Charlize Theron brings everything you can possibly think of from La Femme Nikita, Alias, and The Americans to the table, spins it around and make it her own without any sign of struggle. With Unlocked Noomi Rapace slightly takes you back to Lisbeth Salander, Red and Salt with yet another action package that reminds us of La Femme Nikita, Alias, and The Americans. Great performances from Toni Collette, Orlando Bloom, supported by the charms of John Malkovich and Michael Douglas. Simple, but effective movie that entertains you without the intention of being full of itself. (at Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro)
