Thinking of a modern au and Alfyn comes home to find Therion chilling on the couch.

kept thinking about Buff Catboy Therion from my miitopia file and had to draw him.
oh to lay on a big fluffy werewolf like a totoro...
Therion gave Alfyn a sweater and now they are both cursed.
Alfyn is a frisky werewolf (gets flirty at random)
Love Day is in 3 days
Things may be about to get crazy.
So when Therion plays guitar outside, since it's the cottage living world, birds flock to him to sing along...
So far my werewolf Alfyn sims 4 file has been a comedy.
Alfyn told Therion he's a werewolf. It's not a secret. But for the longest time, Therion never saw Alfyn in his beast form.
Therion goes to the basement to play with the microscope. During this time it is the full moon. Alfyn breaks the sink washing his hands, transforms, runs outside and digs a single hole in the yard before he's able to regain control. Therion remains unaware in the basement.
Enter the following night. It is also a full moon due to game settings. Alfyn and Therion are both asleep when Alfyn transforms. This wakes Therion up, who flees the room because rampaging werewolves are scary.
While running scared he later passes Alfyn digging up the front yard and stops to complain.
Side note: there is a special moodlet that sims get if they woo-hoo with a werewolf. They get it even if the werewolf sim is currently human.
Read into that as you will.

Therion gets tangled in a fish net and eventually washes up on shore in bad shape- Alfyn finds him and after the initial “oh shit a dead body- OH SHIT HE’S ALIVE... and is part fish???” he brings him home and sticks him in his bathtub to try and nurse him back to health. Therion is about as thrilled about this development as you might expect.

Therion’s bed in his den is just a big pile of pelts and blankets and pillows on a carved out step and Alfyn should be careful because if he rolls off the floor IS just stone.

Alfyn lives in a mer community under the waves, but dreams frequently of exploring the surface world and spends a lot of time either near shore or following ships.
Therion’s betrayal happens at sea (maybe he and Darius are pirates together idk) and he gets thrown overboard into the ocean. Alfyn finds him and saves him from drowning (mermaid kisses allow a person to breath underwater for a time) and he takes him to a shore near a human settlement. Therion wakes up on an unfamiliar beach with vague memories and no clue how he is alive. At that point he starts carving out a new life for himself in town- but between the nightmares of the betrayal and drowning he also keeps dreaming of a handsome man he’s never met before kissing him. He often visits the sea and stares out at the water.
I tried to write you some inbox fic but it DIED OTL
The gist of it was that Therion overheard dome dockworkers talking in the tavern abt how some fishermen caught a merman, and then proceeded to describe the one he saw in a dream(?) six years ago after his betrayal. And he thought about how the memories were fuzzy but his face and the desperation of the merman's lips on his were seared into his mind, and how he still spent a lot of time staring at the ocean in spite of everything. He didn't know what he expected, to see the merman, to see Darius with only just enough life left in him to beg for forgiveness, something else, who knows. But he still likes the sea. It's calming, thr sand is nice, he likes watching the hermit crabs scuttling around. Sometimes he swears he sees a flash of green iridescent scales behind the rocks but when he goes to investigate there's nothing there. Anyway the dock worker's friend thinks he's full of shit but Therion can't help himself and goes to investigate. And wouldn't you know it, there in the warehouse where all the fishermen's catches are brought is that same merman from six years ago, unconscious and tangled in fishing net.
Aaaaah this has me rotating ideas (along with the tags you left on my sketches) and just
Time to steal a merman. Rescue mission.
I'm out and about so I can't draw right now but...

And I want Alfyn to be able to manifest legs somehow but escape is still difficult (he would also be naked if he transformed so...)

@colbypuppythebaker here's a bunch of Incredibly Sketchy Sketches of Mermaid Shenanigans. I very much recognize this au's dramatic potential but I also think it's very possible for it to be funny as hell
I have been rotating Android!Therion and Engineer!Alfyn
I loooove the idea of Alfyn finding this deactivated, beat-up android of a pretty unusual model and bringing them back to his shop in Clearbrook and painstakingly cleaning the leaked battery and replacing broken and waterlogged circuits to the point where he can even activate. Idk the other details (why was Therion turned off? Is this bc of Darius? How long was Therion out?) But. I'm a sucker for a good human/android dynamic
Oh I love the sound of this... if it was Darius then the last thing he would remember would be the betrayal... what if Darius found and restored him first just to use him until, well, he had too much a mind of his own and outlived his usefulness...
Then he's worried that Alfyn might do the same and Alfyn has to build up trust with him while also trying to keep him functional...
