What do you mean, obviously everything is black and white /s

It's so frustrating to me because... I've been in Chikn's place! My friend got together with a friend-of-a-friend and spent more and more time with them. I felt alone. I felt like I didn't matter. I get it! But he didn't communicate what he felt. You can't help someone or be there for them if they won't say what's wrong. I did pretty much the same thing he did minus the whole Turn Into A God of Chaos thing - I smiled, said it was fine, and didn't say anything else. So my friend had no reason to believe otherwise.

You know what solved it? It certainly wasn't yelling and accusing her like people want to happen to Chee! I sent a message. Can't remember the exact wording, but basically I said that while I was happy for them I missed hanging out with her, and asked if we could do that soon. She happily agreed! Because, unlike what those people think, hanging out with your significant other doesn't mean you don't care about your friends.

Yet people are acting like Chee should've just... ~magically~ known that he was upset and why. I somehow doubt her critics are such infallible people that they always know when a friend is upset or when they've done something wrong, but god forbid a cartoon cat isn't a mind reader.

And so many people assuming it's badly written and/or promoting "toxic" friendships because Chikn's loneliness hasn't been addressed. Yeah it's not like it's an ongoing series or anything 🙄
