Discworld books are absolutely brilliant because they'll have very clever jokes (that you'll often figure out on a train or something several months later) mixed with reality shattering concepts that will permanently alter the way you see the world. He's just that good. I started them a few months ago (with Going Postal) and they've made life sooo much more bearable.

Also, he will casually just call a character Carrot or Moist and act as if there's nothing unusual. It's brilliant.

Also also, The City Watch series is basically just a slow burn gay enemies to lovers romance between Vimes and Vetinari from what I've so far.

Also also also, the reading order chart is the finest work of modern engineering since the steam locomotive, the AO3 tagging system and that clever eukaryote who came up with wheels.

writing poetry like bleeding onto paper and saying look. this is what flows through my veins. this is what keeps me alive. arent you glad i showed you in all its crimson glory? this is the color of my insides. isnt it beautiful?
