Calling all elriels I have a question to ask. Why do you guys think az's shadows r so wary of gwyn ??

Canonically it's been said az's shadows r almost a weapon or like a detector for him
So if they're shooting out whenever gwyn is around it shouldn't be seen as a good thing
It's been shown that the shadows disappear whenever az is safe and happy
So what is our headcanon till we have actual canon as to why the shadows disappear
I'm not gonna take any “bcuz az's shadows ship gwynriel” replies seriously
