I’m pretty sure it’s possible with two but the bunny and kitty iconic duo definitely didn’t accomplish it. There’s a doorway in the middle they missed. Stupid bunny and kitty.
Update: yes, there is a way with two. It never says that you have to start from the outside— in fact, the instructions I found specifically say “start wherever you want.” The second person drops in from the ceiling, and neither of the people ever escape. It’s okay.
